Honestly I think CASLV is very good. Excellent education, great teachers and staff, and guess what? They actually teach important things you need to know! Take my advice for from 5th grader like me. I'm not a mom writing this based on what I seen. I been there.
Edit: (I don't really get why people are complaining, but maybe that's just me IDK)

My kids and I love this school. The teachers and admin have been great with any issues we had. With the pandemic it is a learning experience for parents, kids, and the school. They have adapted well, and made tweaks where needed. My kids will definitely be going here until they graduate 8th grade!

The school is okay, i've had good and bad teachers but I loved making friends so its okay here. But I do have complaints like what is up with the gas leak but I also have a couple good ones like the field trips and how clean (sometimes) the school looks. I've been here since the school started and the students are pretty nice some were pretty mean though. I got punched in the face at this school and suspended but the school is pretty much the only school I will go to for all the way to 8th so I guess I have to deal with it. And one more thing certain teacher (not naming any names) does not respond in classdojo whenever I text them so I hope that gets fixed up soon. 2/5

The school needs to improve because teachers can't weight grades. and also everyone say there the best when they have 50% average to pass. Also they don't go by the hand book that is why my son got in trouble. There are so many rules the school doesn't follow the school needs to change

So far great experience.Administration, teachers, front office, they all are awesome. Everyone tries his best in order to move the students to their highest potential. One bad thing is, it is not easy to get in the school. There is a huge waitlist. :( Once you are in, you will receive great instruction.

Having my kids at Coral Academy Centennial Hills has been such an incredible experience. Both of my children have had the most caring and knowledgeable teachers. The teachers at our school know how to scaffold a healthy communication between students and create a caring environment in the classroom. The curriculum has challenged my second grader and fourth grader.
I feel that I can contact the administration when a problem arises and it will be handled in a timely and gentle manner!
The assistant Principal did indeed return so I don't know exactly what the other parent was talking about. Guess you can't make everyone happy.

Great school overall!!

Great school overall!!

I have had great experiences at this school. Teachers are mostly VERY nice! The front office staff are the best in the world, they are all very caring. There vice principal however, is a bit of a different story. Other than that, the school is also very clean and nice. I have never had an issue regarding bullying at this school, which is good. Although I don t know about all of the school, all of the classes I ve been in since first grade were bully free. The kids overall are pretty nice in chill. Other than a few, most kids on the school are very well behaved. This school teaches very, very well. The specials that the school has are art, music, Spanish, p.e, and computers. They specials teachers are pretty good, however they need to hire a new computer teacher. The computer teacher is very rude, monotone, emotionless, and dose not make learning computers fun at all. One more issue is the frequent gas leaks. Last year, all the students had to evacuate because of it. It would also be nice if they could add a library and a science lab. The school also has two very nice recess areas. Overall, GREAT
school and would recommend!

Hi, I'm a student that actually attended Coral Aca...

Hi, I'm a student that actually attended Coral Academy. I have graduated from this school in the 2019-2020 school year, and went for 7th and 8th grade. And let me tell you why I gave the review I did.
Here is a list of some messed up things that have occurred there in the middle school department that may or may not have been reported to me by other students that have been at Coral longer then I have, and that me and others may or may not have experienced.
-The teachers and students say slurs
-There have been multiple gas leaks over the course of four years, and one time the school had to be evacuated, which I was there for.
-Rumor to have MOLD in the walls that have gotten other students sick.
-The field trip money for this year was never returned to the parents that paid early.
-forced students to delete negative reviews with there complains so they can keep their ratings high
-A certain teacher that when they get upset or stressed with their class will start yelling and sometimes insult the students even to the point where the students start to cry, and even keeps the student after school even when they have important activities, and the school did nothing.
- Three students have been expelled because of sexual harassment.
-A male student had harassed multiple female students, and instead of dealing with the issue properly, the school just banned skirts for the females.
Now, I have personally had some issues with them that I'd like to share as well. Certain teachers have not respected my identity and have purposefully used my incorrect name and pronouns. Now this may sound like not a big deal, but think about it. A certain teacher of mine would call my incorrect name in the halls in front of everyone passing by ON PURPOSE (as they started this habit AFTER they learned about my preferred name) Thankfully they stopped after a while, but then we never crossed paths again. Another teacher however, knew about my preferred name and pronouns and yet at my whole time in their class (4 months) I don't remember ever them calling me my correct name, or pronouns.
However this incident makes my blood boil everytime i recall it.
I had requested my teachers to use my preferred name and new pronouns, and someone had told the principle. Later, my principal Mr.Serdar had told my mother about my new name and pronouns. Mr.Serdar basically outed me to my mother. Thankfully I had already told my mother about my new name and pronouns, but nonetheless, Mr.Serdar had told my mother information about me that I did not consent to telling and information that he did not know if it was safe to be told. Mr.Serdar did not know if my situation was safe to be LGBTQ openly, and I honestly think he didn't care. And I will never stop being angry at that.
I admit I have some great memories at and because of Coral. But that doesn't mean that you can just ignore all the flaws, and pretend they're not there. And I encourage other students to voice their complaints of this school when they can.
