I got a phone call early this morning from an Alliance Credit Associates and they told me that I would be served and taken to court over a debt from 2009. They said i could be charged up to 3X the amount of the debt and then attorney fees, ect, ect. I almost went ahead and paid the 1750 but I didnt have the money in my checking account. I received calls from an organization claiming to collect on bad debt that was 9 years old.
