Thank the new team. When I came to the last 3 I saw the service. It's good to leave for the first time in 19 years. Don't let this team go.

Its open from 9am to 1:30pm, and considering it takes 3 hours to get anything done that's ridiculous. Half the staff watches TV on the side and security is worse than TSA.

On top of that everything costs a small fortune, if you have all the documents they need. Makes you wonder where all that money is going with 100s of dollars per transaction and hundreds of transactions. And people are surprised why I rather never go back.

Great process online and even better service in person. I visited the Turkish consulate for a Notary (Noter) process and the consulate associate was very professional, helpful and courteous. He was patient explaining all details and made recommendations that my lawyer did not consider. I highly recommend. The US government offices such as the DMV and others should pay a visit to learn how to provide services.

On April 17, you announced the announcement of the 3 flights to be made temporarily to Tr, you need to buy the tickets until April 14. how does this work ?? .. what else is expected from the team who take 1.5 hours noon break like you.

Since the required documents were available, my passport removal process took less than 30 minutes .. I made an appointment first, I gave the documents they called after 10 minutes at 10 o'clock.

You can make transactions when you go without an appointment, but sometimes waiting for registration can be longer than the time you spend doing the process.
In addition, when you log in from the website to make an appointment, you can choose the appointment day, but after you choose the time, you can not proceed with the process, I recommend that you check the appointment system. I think it would be a good advertisement to distribute the promotional magazines to the visitors.

Incredibly airless, zero air circulation inside. And it is a shame that every Turkish staff does not lift their heads from their mobile phones until they get up from the entrance, the phone in the hands of such a strategically important consulate is Facebook and WhatsApp is a serious air.

Trafik, park yeri filan 2,5 saat tuttu yolculugum. Fakat malesef saat 1pm den sonra geldigim icin iceri almadilar. Bunun icin randevu gerekiyormus. Web sayfanizda oyle randevu alinacak gibi bir sey yazmiyor bunu nasil bilecegiz telefonlarada kimse cikmiyor dediysemde malasef geri donmek zorunda kaldim. Donus trafigiyle gidis gelisim 6 saat tuttu.
Konsolusluk 5pm kadar acik. Vatandasa niye bukadar zorluk cikariliyor anlamiyorum.

Yarin tekrar ayni eziyetleri cekecegim. Ama nasil bir suprizle karsilasacam bilmiyorum!

After having a really bad experience at miami consulate last year , it was a good moment seeing that kind of high quality Turkish people in NY consulate all of the staff were super polite and professional about the job and extra thanks to Miss Name INCE.

Nobody lives in New York, people live in New Jersey. Why the Consulate in New York? Make a presentation in New Jersey, everyone is comfortable parkets. They never pick up the phones. There's no help at all. I've been waiting for a document for two weeks.

I am preparing the documents for the application of citizenship for my newborn child and I do not understand why this process can not be done online why I have to send the documents by mail. I was there for my papers, They do work very nicely and helpfuly. But downstairs people was complaining before they go upstairs and talking bad about stuff in consulates, they was saying all this nonsense. One of the best place they giving you nice services and help.

About 7 years ago (in 2010) I needed very important support in JFK airport about passport and I contacted our consulate about the problem. They were with me quickly and solution-oriented. I owe you thanks.

Very unprofessional, uninformative people I have ever had to deal with. We have someone stuck in NYC during this pandemic who wants to go home badly. Each time we contacted the consulate they didn't know about a flight to help Turkish citizens to go back to Turkey, yet there's a flight on the 15th of May that they failed to inform us about. Very messy, mismanaged staff. Won't recommend anyone to deal with them.

I drove all the way from Campbell Hall just because they told me to come. But unfortunately they guy in Recipient is very unprofessional person he did not let me go in even I explained him everything. that will be first and last time I don t have any interesting to visit Turkey.

I remember when I was a kid it took 8 hours to renew our passports just went there it took 3 min and went back to pick it up once it was in which was 5 min.

Worst embassy ever. Very unprofessional group of people. I've been emailing the past 2 weeks about getting a visa and after so many attempts and emailing and calling (mind you waiting to speak to someone after 30 minutes), they kept telling me that they will get back to me and never did. Turkey government of Visa affairs told me to physically go to the consulate in NY and I had to travel over 2 hours for me to not even be allowed to speak to someone. The receptionist said I need to email the consulate and I'm not able to go into the offices. So many rude people I've dealt with over simple Visa questions. Such a shame on the country.

Harika...The Turkish Consulate personnel are courteous, communicate properly what is needed and are efficient. Overall, a good experience.

They barely listen and when there is a misunderstanding they literally have a guy that is just there to make a scene and argue with you. Very unprofessional.

This is a government office. It is ridiculous to be closed 12: 30-2pm !!! Lunch?!? What kind of lunch period is that. Why can't you guys substitute each person during lunch? Oh yea I forgot you guys are english, you gotta eat lunch together, have tea, and cigarettes. Of course you're there with my tax dollars !! There can be no such system. If your presence is to serve the people, there is no greater liar than you. Is there a lunchtime between 12-2?!?! Why doesn't everyone go out for lunch, one by one, or department by department, and if he's hungry between 12-2? It would serve the public between those hours, wouldn't it? But yes you are turks, and you're going to eat all together, smoking tea, an hour and a half, but those people who pay your salary with taxes should wait for you?!? The attached picture can tell how much updated they are. I m a PA resident and filled the online E-Visa for Turkey on Turkish Embassy s website. I took half day off from work and drove all the way to NYC to hear from them that they need one month to process my visa but I can get the visa online within 48hrs if I apply for E-Visa online when the same online visa process made me book an appointment with them. Never seen such a broken system before.

I would never ever recommend the Turkish Consulate no one (if you dont have to). Very rude and disgusting customer service from Nida Eryilmaz. I dont even know how come type of those people are able to work at very importand serious consulate in NY. I and my wife was there on 12th of October. We had an appointment at 2pm which she did not care that we have an appointment she said that still we have to get number in order to things done. We got number and get back front of her again. The way how she is talking to people is that people has no idea and she is the only one who know everything, trying to ignore what ever people says. if you have any chance to ask someone who can help you avoid her to get better and nice service.

There is no official service to the citizen. You brought water from a thousand streams to buy a paper. Allah will have the same polish on your sons, now you may enjoy it, but your children may need these services in the future. 9-13: 00 work you have set, we are looking at 12.45 am no wonder something open.

Very helpful and courteous staff. Quick service and plenty of seating unlike the original consulate. Looking forward for the new building to be opened soon. I believe in two years it should be open and it's right across the UN building.

Our consulate is a legend; Before I left I made a reservation on the internet, before arriving they sent a qr code to enter the building and it took me 2min to get the e-government password.
