Easy donation process, called to set up a time, and dropped off clothes with tags, personal care items and reusable bags. Great organization. I suggest looking on their website to see what is needed.
CAWC is a wonderful place to go for your court-appointed classes with DCFS. It's located in the Association House building and the building itself offers an array of services for the community. I took my domestic violence 101 classes there when child welfare removed my children on an illegal charge in June 2013. My 3 children came home in June and August of 2015! You'll receive a certificate for the domestic violence classes after you finish them. In addition, they offer you counseling services and they give you a lot of literature as it relates to your situation. They also give out goodie bags to the women during the holidays, etc. You can look through the donated items of clothing there too.
This place does a great service to women. The situations that they cater to can be very hard for a person to deal with or talk about. They lighten that burden, are understanding & offer many resources including prevention classes and therapy.

I called for help an was told that I need to go to a shelter even when I told her my problem didn't need a regaler shelter needed domestic violence help I was just turned around no help finding a safe place at all so what kind of help do they really give I could be dead wright now thanks a lot so I give them a star for answering the phone
If you need real help don't call them pray if they are your only resource
