They were the best! I work from my macbook, making the stress levels from not being able to operate on it, pretty high. With that being said, most of that stress was lifted due to them being so patient and detailed about everything. They kept me in the loop the entire process and personally gave me the feeling that my Mac was in good hands. As I type this review from said device, Everything works just as good if not better!

Computer Lab Memphis literally saved me from what could have been a very disastrous working week. As a Software Engineer, I depend of my computer to do my job and after having landed in Memphis for the week, I've noticed that my battery was swollen. Although still functioning, I could not do much since the trackpad was starting to fail due to the pressure from the swollen battery. I found the nearest Apple Store (German Town) and gave them a visit hopping to get this fixed and the circus started. A person with a neat Apple shirt logo received me and asked me If I had an appointment, I said no and was forwarded to a second worker. 30 + minutes later, this other worker asked me why I was there. After showing the laptop I got forward to the first worker to arrange an appointment... not kidding here! So, I arranged and appointment but without any pre-arranged hour. They told me that they could see me around 3 pm, but that I had about 15 minutes to show up in the store once notified through SMS. This was about 11 am. I went back to work and around 1 pm I got a message from Apple, so, I rushed into the store driving like crazy just so I could be there on time. Once I got there, they sent me to the end of the store where you get to seat and wait... and wait... and about 2 hours later I was finally attended by a worker who told me that it would take about 2 days for the parts to be in and that I had to get in line to have it fixed, which should be about 3 to 5 days after the part is received. I would be out of town by then and this was not an acceptable option for me. The worker did tell me to try to contact a Apple Certified Technician and passed me the contacts for two stores. Still waiting for a callback from the first one (Tane computers or something like that) and as soon as I called Computer Lab Memphis I then decided to give them a visit. Had a first chat with a lady that owns the business and left my number for a callback on the issue by the technician that was out at that moment. After a short conversation over the phone, he ordered the part over night and told me to call back the next day. I called back around 11 am and the part was in store, drove to the store, left my computer and one hour later I was back to pick it up. Everything is working great and I could not be more pleased with their service. The price was exactly the same that Apple was charging me. Getting it shipped overnight and fixed within an hour, PRICELESS! Great Job, Amazing professional and if you are out of town, don't loose your time with Apple, go straight to Computer Lab Memphis. These people are fast, Apple certified and great to work with. Better customer service than Apple store.

Computerlab completely surpassed my expectations by a mile. When they replaced my failing hard drive and it didn't fix my problem, Laurie and Jeremy took a good chunk of time trying different things. When they didn't have a crucial internal cable to fix my machine, they ordered it and said they would fix it for only cost of parts when the piece came in a few days. Because of the shipment time of the cable, I thought my Mac would be a few more days, but Lo and Behold, Laurie called me two days ahead of schedule to tell me the good news. Even though an internal cable was being shipped, they found another one and got my computer running way ahead of time.

Computerlab of Memphis totally defies the throwaway culture we exist in today by treating their customers (and their computers) with understanding and generosity. Now that is a great business model! I can't thank you enough, guys.

I found Computerlab out of frustration that there were no Genius appointments available at Saddle Creek Apple Store. Computerlab is where I will be taking my mac from here on out. There are no appointment scheduling online and the people who work there are great! They know what they are talking about and have been fixing Apple computers since the 80's. You just don't find that any more. My hard drive crashed and they had it back to working order in no time. I would recommend to anyone.

Great place to take your computer, very reasonable prices and friendly people, however I passed the store very often and it looks like this facility is close, hopefully they still doing business, I like to know where they move to, I would like to keep taking my computers to them.

Very good computer shop. I can see why they are an authorized Apple retailer. They were very kind and courteous right when I walked through the door with my issue. The repairs were done within a couple of hours on the same day. If you have AppleCare on your product it will be covered just like at an Apple store. I was a little skeptical from the outside because of the area it was located and the bars on the windows but the inside was very nice and modern. They provide great repairs and even will walk your stuff to your car which really impressed me because only a company that truly cares about customer service would do something so small but have a big impact. Definitely will recommend them to anyone that needs technology repair!!

My macbook had a broken harddrive and apple recommended bringing it here to get the data. I had no plans on the computer lab to fix it. The lady at the front desk was so nice to me and very patient. She knew I did not know much about computers which would have made it very easy to take advantage of. Not once did she try to convince me to buy the expensive parts. She knew exactly what I needed and kept me updated throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond to help me. My computer is working as good as the day I bought it. If you are looking for a trustworthy shop to work on your computer this one is highly recommended!

I had a an exceptional experience at Computer Lab. Until now I have always used Apple to fix any problems with my Macs, but needed quick service and Apple directed me to this Apple Certified shop. Long story short, I got my computer back on time and the service was above and beyond. I will not even call Apple next time or bother using the genius bar, I'll go straight here. Thanks again!

My computer is everything, when it crashed, I was devastated! I brought it here and the customer service was fantastic. Reliable and fast, with reasonable prices. Since then, I ve been bringing all my computer software here, and haven t been disappointed once. Definitely recommend this place to others for computer problems!

Great experience and really quick service. I had to have my keyboard fixed and I called apple and this was the place they had told me to go because the apple store would take a while to fix my issue as I needed it fixed in 4 days as I had to take an exam on the computer and I went here and was was greeted by the owner and she said she can work on it as fast as they could and boy did they fix it quickly, I got a whole new keyboard and the service was excellent and place was very welcoming. If you are near Memphis and don't want to wait at the apple store, this is the place to go. If I am near Memphis and need any service on my Macs, I am coming here. Thank you guys for the repairs!

Great customer service, reasonable price, and kept me updated throughout the process as parts had to be ordered. Updated my RAM and went to solid state drive on my MacBook Pro. Probably running faster than it did from day one. Highly recommend!

I brought my laptop in there today and they knew I was in a crunch. It was a wifi card, they had some spare time and fixed it with me sitting there! They were super friendly and the price was way cheaper than the Apple Store! If I ever have any problems, I will be coming back!

I was in on Aug 3 2017. I had to bring my mac computer in to get the mouse pad fixed. Computer Lab is an authorized dealer for Shelby County Schools. The lady opened my computer and asked me if I had spilled something on the computer because it had some dings on the front cover of the computer. I told her I had not and that spills don't make dings on a computer. She said if they were Apple they would not fix it and cancel my warranty (which is Dec. 2017). She closed the computer and told me she would not fix it because of my response. She said she could open the computer and see if I spilled something on it anyway, I said that was fine. She said that this business was a family business and she didn't haven't to fix anything she didn't want to. She slide me my computer and told be good luck and good bye. Unbelievable! She is the rudest person I ever met. The conservation went south from there. If there is anywhere else a computer can be fixed please don't patronized this precious family business.

Memphis Computer Lab is great!! They were so helpful and informative. They fixed my mac under an apple warranty which was very appreciated and they went the extra mile.

Friendly, knowledgeable, good place for repairs. Amazingly I just had an overnight repair of a screen because they placed the parts order immediately when I was just calling in on the phone to check coverage. Better than genius bar because you don't need to schedule an appointment! I strongly encourage you to patronize this local small business and keep a strong Apple repair option available to Memphians.
