Not many cities have retained and honored their old (think 1890's) city parks. But St. Paul had. I love Como Park ... the walking paths, the band shell, the horse carousel ride, the gardens and the zoo. The Zoo is OPEN. It's been carefully curated to make it covid safe, while still a wonderful place to wander. You'll need to make a reservation ... you'll be glad you did.

This is free!? This zoo offers sights of primates and other great creatures. The reptile area is easy to miss so keep a lookout for it. The conservatory is filled with unique plants. I must recommend this zoo for anyone who enjoys seeing wildlife.

There were a few things not open currently like rides and wolf woods otherwise it was nice! Masks indoors, able to take it off outdoors and a great flow through without getting too close to other people!

Great zoo! It's the perfect size for small children with a good variety of animals, beautiful conservatory and Japanese garden. It's fun to go to year round. I love to go on the off days and rainy days because the crowds are smaller.

Super excellent setup following the covid protocols. Reservations are required to Limit the people at a time. It s such a captivating place with so much to see. A good way to spend time and have an indoor/outdoor walk with friends/family while capturing beautiful moments

This zoo is one of the best treasures in the entire Twin Cities. We have visited several times but our recent visit was our best ever. We have young adult
Children and they loved this particular visit. No crowds and easy to park anywhere. The Zoo s COVID protocols are very efficient making you take a one way experience through the zoo and conservatory AND we felt we had the place to ourselves taking our time enjoying the animals, smells and environments. It s a small zoo but they have it so well laid out even during the pandemic.

We were very impressed with our wedding ceremony hosted at the Conservatory. I communicated seamlessly with multiple people there, and was told where to park and day-of details well in advance. Our rehearsal was the night before at 9pm, which gave unique views of the ceremony space. The clean-up following our ceremony with professional and discreet, and they were prompt with their 1.5 hr time slot. I recommend upgrading to the speakers they have in house. They worked well for our ceremony music

absolutely loved my experience here. we reserved our tickets (free!) online and followed the signs in the zoo. since social distancing is still taking place, they want to ensure everybody is staying safe and wearing their masks. the weather was a bit chilly, so we didn t see some of the animals. but the rest was amazing. definitely check out the conservatory as well, very well maintained and pretty. would recommend going early to avoid large crowds and pick a sunny day to go. we spent roughly an hour in both the zoo and conservatory (inc taking pictures).
