Residential Support
Community Living Services offers a variety of residential support options for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These options include group homes, supported living arrangements (SLAs), shared living arrangements (SLAs), host homes/foster care settings or independent living apartments.
Group Homes: Group homes are designed for people who need more intensive support than what they can receive in an SLA or independent living apartment setting. In group homes residents share common areas such as kitchens or living rooms while having their own private bedrooms.
Supported Living Arrangements (SLAs): SLAs are designed for people who need some level of assistance but want more independence than what they would have in a group home setting. Residents live on their own or share an apartment/house together while receiving staff supports based on individual needs.
Shared Living Arrangements (SLAs): Shared living arrangements are similar to SLA's but involve sharing housing costs between two unrelated adults who both have IDD diagnoses but do not require staff supports beyond those provided by CLS case management team members.
Host Homes/Foster Care Settings: Host homes/foster care settings provide temporary placement opportunities where an individual lives within the home environment of another person(s) who has been trained by CLS staff on how best provide supports needed by the individual served within this type arrangement until permanent placement can be found if necessary.
Day Programs
