A genuine organisation wanting the best for the people they support.

My wife had a interview with CLO, she was so excited to get this interview. once she came home she said her interview was great, they even asked for her reference. my wife sent her reference and was missing one person, and that person no longer works at her old work place. my wife explained that to the Human Resources Administrator, my wife got a message what made her felt as she was not qualified no more because of missing one reference. If the Human Resources Administrator really care about CLO they would know that they had just lost a good potential worker who is in college striving for a degree in Bachelor's of Behavioural Science for people with developmental disability what she is passionate for people with disability. The HR should not judge over a computer screen its unprofessional.

My experience with CLO has been great. Get to meet wonderful people everyday and hear of wonderful activities that they have been part of. Everyday is a new day with new activities and outings for the people they support.

Community Living Oakville has been a blessing to my family. My special needs adult brother has been a part of it for the last 7 years. Thanks to this organization, specially to coordinator Tracy Morrow, he has a job he likes, is able to meet people like him, and has opportunities to socialize. She ensures he is continuously supported in all aspects by acting as a mediator so that his special needs are understood by his employer, government and city officials and even his peers. Thank you Tracy and Community Living Oakville for giving my brother quality of life.

I ve had the pleasure of working with many different agencies over the last 15+ years and CLO is on the top of my recommendations list. They offer so many different programs from residential 24/7 support, fee for service, culinary, drama, in the loop media, day services, employment support the list goes on and they are always networking as an agency to meet the needs of the growing community. I would highly recommend calling and asking any questions you have as they are very knowledgeable and can point you in the right direction.
