I heard there s a lady in there named Lindsay Blair Holder I was browsing around for lawyers to handle my disability case and a friend told me not to come here or deal with someone named Lindsay Blair Holder. My friend told me she s not professional, not caring for peoples help or sickness, she works anytime she wants to and throws away people s files and gives excuses as in she s working on it. She s barely has confident in herself which I find it odd for a lawyer like her if she picked to do this career. Kindly avoid her if you want a lawyer to fight for you and your rights. There s a lot of people talking about her in town that is not pleasing.

Mr. Lee Webb is a very professional lawyer who helped me a lot.

Have had very critical help from this community legal clinic. The legal aid that comes in the time of need is very competent from this location, and I am thankful for it. Even the receptionists are generally very kind and helpful. This unfortunately is met with an exception by a receptionist name Sylvana. Very disappointed in her unacceptable behavior where she told me that she did not care and it "did not matter if my water, electricity, and heat was turned off", and that I should wait another week to receive legal aid. This is behavior that is shameful. Apart from the incident with the receptionist, everyone else including the receptionists and legal aids at this legal aid clinic are exceptional in their willingness and ability to help tenants caught in tough situations.

It's 'hit and miss' style service. This review concerns my most recent experience. I contacted them today to 'inquire if they knew of whom I could speak regarding a lack of communion at LTB.

Basic communication had stopped at LTB during Covid, but due to several mishaps (Notice mailed without Hearing info, LTB phones out of order 2x, no replies to my emails) they held a Hearing without my knowing.

After another run-around phone call with LTB, I was curious who I should contact to get this figured out.

I contact the Legal Clinc of York Region, perhaps they had a simple answer?

Instead, I was grilled with unrelated questions by a lady who insisted she knew what I was wanting to do.... but hadn't listened to a thing I said. It felt like she doesn't trust anyone- so she filtres the calls via mistrust.

They need more of this Service. They helped me more times then I can count when I was broke with no job, house, car, you name it and they helped me get past it. If you want to help people, fund this program, it is the best choice for all.
