I would give CHP zero stars were that an option. Interesting too that so many of the reviews here from tenants are very poor. One with five stars is by Rick Aubry who happens to be the current CEO!! The many comments about management are on target. Historically this organization is known for corruption, absconding with monies and not responding to residents' concerns and valid grievances. Of all the big affordable housing providers CHP has the worst reputation. Rats, roaches, mold left untreated, favoritism, cronieism, all endemic. Layers of management, evasion of the most basic info: CHP has a lot to hide.
Social Workers in all these places and the managers are all rude I call it Obama housing this is what corporate reps and dems want the middle and working class to live like

I HAVE NOT HAD RENT PAYMENTS Processed, Re: Akiko Browm, for the months of July and August. Her excuse was that the check machine wasn't working. There is a process in which a hand could be used. Additionally, my check was the only personal check in the drawer. Where were the others?
Repeatedly, I have asked for an accounting of my payments during the past two years.My bank complied, but not the CHP or their representative.
Is the idea to cash six months of checks at once on a person on fixed income? Smells like it and is reflective of a individua(s) whose truth meters are mutable.

Today is Friday, Sept. 2, 2016. I just spoke to someone named "Javier" who didn't know too much about your services that I was inquiring. He also didn't care that the phone was ringing and ringing. The call went to voicemail, and then kept ringing again, until he finally answered it. He was very unprofessional, sorry for bothering you! I had a question about the environmental program that CHP USED TO DO, HE HAD NO CLUE. I HUNG UP. I will follow up either in person and contacting management.

They teach customer services but have none, they claim professionalism but have none, they are rude, unprofessional, inconsiderate, always some excuse, they don't care about the solutions staff they hire, and there is no guarantee hire anywhere after your time expires. I use to work for them and i have found way better job settings then the ones they provide. My supervisor are true leaders in the hospitality industry and CHP should take some classes instead of giving them.... CHP NEED TO LEARN TO PRACTICE WHAT THEY PREACH....
