Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona Review

The people were very friendly and nice. They made the process very easy. There was a standing line an hour long. But afterwards it was less than 10minutes.

The people were friendly and helpful. They made me feel welcomed and like a person and not just some bum. Thank you for your kindness.

If it is your first time here, you can cut the long line (if there is one). The people that work or volunteer there help out a lot.

Very nice people, good variety of food and great place if in need of help. The only thing bad about this place is the hectic parking lot.

Very clean, organized and well run all by volunteers. Amazing amount of good quality food!!! Well worth the waiting in line inside a nice cool warehouse. No need to bring your own bags or boxes either.

It's a good place to go if you need help or if you want to help people.

They do give a lot of food but 80% do not serve it is rotten, that is not help for anyone

Love this place and the farmers market is awesome the staff is very Friendly.

They asked my husband for his identification and we got so involved answering questions that we forgot to ask for it back. It should have been given back. We called the very next day and the information desk lady was RUDE RUDE RUDE. She would not allow us to speak to anyone else. The $12 spent on a new identification plus all that gas to get way over to MVD is money we needed. Hence the reason we get a food box. Also, they put my husband on a waiting list to get a Senior food box!! I don't get it! Disappointing to say the least!!!

Helps people who ( like my family ) need it to make ends meet!

I had been there earlier in the month. On the 7th so I couldn't get anything.

Arrived Wednesday approx 3 pm. Extremely short line everything went quickly. Staff was courteous and helpful as always.

It's absolutely wonderful & friendly! They make sure you are taken care of especially in a time of need :)

No one needs 50 lbs. of tomatoes, corn, and pinto beans. I mean I know beggars can't be choosers but real food would be nice. There are food banks that I've visited and they've given meat and other foods that doesn't resemble dog food. On a good note they do give from time to time Dave's famous bread which is like $8.00 a loaf at the store.

Support for your time and effort. This place has been helping the community for many years. The person I visited with was on a fixed income and would otherwise have starved. Don't hesitate to Donate.

I was amazed at the generosity in the amount, and type of food I received. Lots of fruit this day instead of surgery junk food. The line was daunting, but sadly that's a sign of our financially difficult times we are in. Once you get through the line they are incredibly quick and efficient. My hats off to the workers( volunteers) that take care of you. Go they offer more help than just food! M

They help a lot of people. I'm not sure when the best time to go is, they're is usually a crowd of people there.

When you need help to feed your family they are there no questions asked

Donated food and drinks. Drop off easy ..staff very nice. Looked busy. Easy in and out.

Doing good with respect - for the client, the volunteer, the staff, and the process. Community gardens, harvesting excess produce, local food drives, family and group and individual one day or recurring volunteer opportunities. Making the world a better place, one full belly at a time.

It's great what they do for people but some food is modeled or expired which doesn't help.

I don't know what happened we will get in eggs and milk and certain things and now you don't even see things like you can eat

It is a good place to get food .when u need help but if u volunteer they are rude..

They are very efficient! Everything moved quickly considering the number of people. They work hard to make sure food is not bad.

The helpfulness of volunteers. And of course you have to wait cuz the needs of others.

Sometimes the lines are long but even free comes at a cost.

the people that work at the food bank donate their time . All the food is also all donations thank God thers still generous people in the world . thank you

Everyone at the front are volunteers, very nice people, they try to help people as fast as they can

Brought my friend and they explained prosses and inforemed her of farmers market, and locations.

This is a great service. This month and last month this website said it was open. Drove out there and it was not, both on Fridays. I can't afford to waste gas. They should keep this website current daily.
