Mangaluru, Jun 21 : First Flight Chartered by KSCC brings stranded kannadigas from Sharjah to Mangalore.

Karnataka Sports and Cultural Club (KSCC) (Entity registered with Community Development Authority, UAE and Govt of Dubai, UAE) is the first sports & cultural Club to arrange a charter flight to repatriate stranded kannadigas in UAE landed at Mangalore International Airport at 11.00 am on Sunday June 21,

The Air Arabia flight with 173 passengers took off from Sharjah international airport around 6:00 am (UAE Time),The flight had 29 pregnant women, 16 children s, 5 infant s, senior citizens, people with medical emergencies, who have lost jobs ,stranded visit visa holders & those who had reported deaths in their families.

KSCC Manager Mr.Shafi said that all the legal procedures were carried out smoothly, Charter flight was arranged only for the stranded kannadigas.

KSCC had set up help desk to finalize list of passengers, given Discounted ticket fare for needy passengers who cannot afford the full repatriation cost, Free PPE kits were distributed to all passengers along with snacks.

Meanwhile Rapid tests for Covid-19 was conducted before departure & mandatory quarantine for all the passengers was arranged accordingly in 3 hotel s(Mangalore) for a period of seven days.

KSCC official s Shafi , Althaf , Javed , Naseer & Volunteer s were present at airport during the time of departure for passengers hospitality & support.
