Seems next to impossible to submit ticks for testing through any kind of health unit organization and even if you actually manage to jump through all the hoops to do it, seems like it would be counter intuitive to actually bother with. The form for submitting is a joke and is completely worthless.
No wonder there is no real tangible data on ticks and Lyme in Ontario.
Seems like there isn't actually any point in submitting ticks for testing. I have two Eastern Black-legged Tick (Ixodes scapularis) in my fridge right now if ya'll want them for testing. I would absolutely love to know if they have Lyme or not.
