The perfect place for students and familiy. Beautiful view outside and excellent customer service. A lot of worthseeing shows and high quality of serving stuff.

Constantly at the art centre with the children's courses. It offers such a wide range of activities for children and adults such as ballet, pottery, screen painting and drama.
I enjoy attending the cinema here as it is small and cosy.
There is always wide range of shows on and I have enjoyed many over the years.
The comedy and music nights are aplenty so there really is something for everyone.

Although there is plenty of parking it is often difficult to park due to the lack of space markings in certain areas.

A smaller, more intimate venue where you can really feel more connected to the performer.
Very friendly staff.
Reasonably priced bar.

Lovely place, well catered for and a great place to visit

Best cafe/shop in town (main bulding) maybe a little on the costly side but the food is great. (Especially the mature chese and onion chips)

Great staff, has a variety of films to watch and love the comedy and dance. The cafe is great too.

I attended a funeral gathering in the upstairs bar. Delicious food was laid on. Plenty of room for everyone, the bar serving alcoholic, soft drinks and hot beverages too. Very friendly atmosphere.

If you're up on Aberystwyth University campus, the art centre is the best place to get food and drink. The bar offers cheap paninis, whilst the cafe has a large selection of hot food.

Brilliant resource with great events and great staff

The cafe located in the Arts centre has a large variety of lunch food and cakes. Their coffee is very good and the facilities are excellent. The staff were friendly and I will definitely be back for some lunch. There are also a number of shops to browse for some welsh souvenirs.

Excellent facility for locals and visitors with so much going on. The theatre and cinema are favourites of mine. Excellent food at the restaurant with stunning views overlooking Aberystwyth and Cardigan Bay. Excellent book shop and gift shop too.

The cinema is quite small for Aberyswyth citizen but I found it is treated well by welcoming people. The price of tickets is quite high that's the reason for 3 given

Always a good buzz up here. Lunch, coffee, an exhibition, a film or a play and something from the gift shop. Can't go wrong.

Pity so many students occupied cafe tables when not eating. Don't they have a library?

Went there to watch Dave Gorman, fantastic facility.

Great staff, a variety of events and classes and a cafe offering drinks snacks, light bites and hot food.

Good events. Good food. Nice place. Sometimes a little pricey.

Nice place to go for coffee, good view out of the large windows. Strange tables though and some parts could do with some renovation, but this is Aberystwyth, so this is cutting edge. Some of the photos attatched to this listing are innaccurate though.

As for the cinema, it seems pretty decent but is small, so get there early when there's a new release.

Occasionally you can catch other entertainment, the hall is fairly underwhelming, but plenty if seating and good quality stuff comes here, for the area.

I'm biased as I was involved when it opened in 1972! t is still a wonderful cultural centre which had gone from strength to strength in the intervening years. f you are anywhere in the vicinity make sure you pay a visit.

Lovely place. Nice views. Shop and cafe, toilets, cinema, bookshop, two theatre spaces all excellent. Always find the exhibitions disappointing though.

Loved the Rob Brydon show! Brilliant entertainment.

Big venue could be a bit clearer what's on where inside.

I went to see an art exhibition here and was pleasantly surprised at how big and well laid out the space was. I was a lovely exhibition in a lovely building.

Fantastic building, amazing place. Went to the carol service which was very good. Staff very friendly. Could spend an hour or two just looking round! Amazed what is catered for here, ie, theatre, cinema, dance studio, shopping, cafe and much more.

Great venue! We were there for an outdoor film screening- which was well organised. Good to have a vegan hot dog option! Great gift shop, coffee shop and bar here too.

Very good venue for the arts and local culture. Deacent canteen food and coffee. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well maintained public facilities. Top marks all round!

Attended a Jack Savoretti concert here. A good venue for loads of different entertainment. Always something happening, worth checking out the website.

The nature is very beautiful and the sea is beautiful and there are areas of the Kingdom of the ancient

Always like to pop in, see exhibitions or visit the shops or go round to the cinema

Had a great evening watching James Acaster. Staff were great and were very understanding when my wife requested we move seats as we were sat behind a giant of a man. The security staff put us on the front row great stuff.

Was good the tables outside it was slightly difficult to sit close to the table as benches are far apart

The cafe downstairs is nicest. Decent grumpy mule coffee too. Bar at theatre.upstairs is a nice place to unwind also

Aberystwyth Arts centre is a marvellous place to visit the cinema and theatre or attend a concert or comedy show. There is also a cafe with a great view over Aberystwyth and the sea from the elevated position on the Aberystwyth University campus on Penglais, the main North road out of Aberystwyth.

Went up to see a play which was fantastic. It was set up so that seats were tiered on all sides and actors performed in the middle and as we were in front row we felt like we were almost part of it - exciting stuff. Ideal venue for it although cafe is a rip off so be careful what you buy and people working there don't seem happy.

Went to see Footloose musical. Nice venue, better than the Grand Theatre in Swansea for being able to see the entire show and not have your view restricted regardless of where you sit. Alcohol on the slightly more expensive side but to be expected.

Fantastic facility for all ages, offering classes, films, exhibitions, shopping, dread to think what Aber would be like without it

Craft fayre and art exhibition, one word, excellent.

An ever changing variety of theatre and music events and films to choose from, many are also in Welsh, great food, craft and book shops, parking and very close to the town of Aberystwyth.

Great place for Theatre, exhibitions and cinema.. Along with 5 star quality food.

This is a great place - theatre, cinema, gift shop, food, bookshop, galleries... What more could you want? A great place to spend anything from ten minutes to five hours.

Less Art than in previous visits, but more films and food

Can't beat the happy hour here, ditched the Union bar after I found the Arts Centre bar.

What a wonderful place this is, wish I had discovered it sooner. I only got to see it as part of the Uni Open Day, but loved it at first sight.

Really enjoyed the little exhibition space, the cafe is fabulous and you can sit by the window and watch the sea changing colour, while sipping really good strong coffee and eating one of the many scrumptious cakes.

I had a look at the programme and there's so much going on!

The Art Centre shop has a lovely range of gifts, many handmade by local artists.

Definitely recommend visiting it.

I can truly say I love this place always somthing wonderful happening and a place I love to work at events.

Brilliant band. Could have done with some Aircon though.

This is an excellent place to either just visit or go to a concert, theatre or film. There are lovely gift shops and a fabulous inexpensive eatery serving great hot and cold foods and meals. They host top class artists and stars as well as fabulous plays, films and dance. This is a must place if you are staying in Aberystwyth or near by

Excellent we used the electric Charging point, all good then had food over at the arts center. Food and service was great. Lovely to see the local art work as well.

Great location, really friendly university with lots of Welsh pride. Good choice for the Arts. Good facilities. Graduation went like clockwork.
