I found CFF as a potential lender for a vehicle I planned to purchase. It turned out to be the biggest mistake I've ever made in financing anything. I contacted a loan officer at CFF, gave them the necessary information and they pulled my credit history. The employee informed me that with my credit score in the high 7's finding financing should be no problem. I filled out the application and booked a flight to pick-up the truck, as it was almost 1000 miles from my home. I made it very clear to the CFF employee that I was flying from Georgia to Connecticut and needed all processing completed before my arrival date so I would not have to wait and could begin the drive back home in a timely manner. To make a long story short, I sat in the dealership's office two full business days waiting on the funds to be wired. They had two weeks from my application to get this loan ready to fund. On the second day, I talked to the owner of CFF, Matt Manero, and he agreed that this was an unacceptable situation and agreed to pay my expenses for the second day in Connecticut. When the vehicle funds finally appeared, I had to drive almost 20 hours home without stopping to honor my appointments. It's been seven weeks as of this writing and I still have not received the reimbursement of expenses as CFF promised (I even contacted them 3 weeks back and they said they forgot to send it). It seems CFF is not willing to make ANY effort to honor their promises/obligations. Not someone I ever intend to do business with again.
