One stop shop for anyone that needs medical, dental, vision, or a WIC appointment. The people are normally nice here, I enjoy walking in seeing smiling faces. I love the selection of glasses they carry (since they are not as expensive as most places). Lots of unruly kids in the waiting areas, but What health center is perfect.... NONE!!! This place should think about redoing their parking lot....theres no where to park here and the surrounding area is not a good one.

Last week I had a doctor appt and I arrived at 10:30 (appt was at 11:00), I was seen at 1:30. Today, I have an eye appt (10:45)and arrived at 10:35, it's past noon and I'm STILL waiting to be seen. It's SATURDAY, they don't care if you have plans, a family, etc...

This place has the worst customer service. The first person, I was welcomed with a sigh and the 2nd second person won t let me finish talking. I talked to 2 people and both of them were very rude that I decided not to go to their clinic and go somewhere else.

Terrible service, after spending several hours on the phone to make a medical appointment they constantly cancel your appointments without notice and do not even bother to call to schedule a new appointment. They just waste your time. If you need to contact your doctor, forget it, he will never answer. If I could give it zero stars that would give it because they are not a clinic, it would be nor committed to their patients

I hate to write a review like this, however, it bothers me to bring up this behavior of the staff at Primary One. I brought my friend into meet with my own doctor as my friend was looking for a new doctor. My friend was treated like she was some street girl off the street. I was horrified by the treatment and complete disrespect my friend was treated by. Now my friend is in search of a third doctor to find out what is wrong with her breathing issue. I was so mortally-offended by this treatment that I experienced that I actually had to call my lawyer when I was in the parking lot after my friend's appointment was over. This is scary how the disregard for someone's well-being was displayed in front of me by the same doctor that I've known and been pleased with for the last five years. I'm actually in fear for my own safety returning to this location alone, so I will have my lawyer present with me on my next routine visit. Btw, the vision clinic doctor is amazing, but the wait times in the waiting area and the wait times on the phone are correct. I actually walked out of my last eye appointment because they took forever to call me [I was 45 minutes early for my appointment and it was nearly an hour before they called me back up to the counter]. Maybe it's the location of this facility that just assume everyone is messed up and on something illegal. Guilty until proven innocent is not a way to run a medical practice. Thanks for your time.

Irresponsible and almost non existing customer service.
I once praised Primary One but they have degraded to a point that is abominable.
I repeatedly attempt to call and make an appointment but no one picks up and when you leave your number they never call back.
Horrible way to treat people who trust you for their care.

I made an appointment to see an OBGYN at this facility after experiencing some uncomfortable symptoms for a few months. After a 2 month waiting period, I was finally seen and tested for a UTI. The doctor conducted a standard urine dip test (which came back negative) and a cultured urine test (which came back positive and indicated a bacterial infection). The results of the cultured urine test came in after I had left the doctor's office. A nurse was supposed to call me to inform me that I was diagnosed with a UTI, but I never received a call. I only found out that I was infected during my follow-up visit 1.5 weeks later, when they found out that I was never contacted, nor did I start the prescribed medications because I was unaware that I even had an infection. This mishap has led to even more unpleasant symptoms and I have now been going back and forth between various doctor's appointments. About one month after this incident, the same office was supposed to set up an ultrasound to be done at an off-site medical center prior to my next appointment. After speaking with the doctor 2 days prior to my scheduled appointment, it was confirmed over the phone that someone from the office would give me a call before 2 PM to schedule the ultrasound. I never received a call and will not have it done in time before my next appointment. Throughout this entire process, I had been calling into the office to speak with someone about my symptoms worsening. My calls were never returned. When I'd receive appointment reminder phone calls, I would ask if I could be transferred to speak with a nurse or doctor and the response I received each time was "I can't guarantee anything". I am very disappointed in the way things have continuously progressed with this office. I chose this facility and the doctor because of the reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was not as pleasant.

Nobody answers the phones, the people at the desk like to stare at you and talk about you behind your back in other languages thinking you can't understand what they are saying. Had an appointment and didn't get to see the dentist until 3 hours after my appointment time. I would honestly NEVER suggest anyone go here! They need to hire more staff as well as friendlier staff who care about their patients, will actually do their job and won't talk behind their customers backs in other languages calling them a fat cow and their children retards.......seriously don't go here.....

If you are thinking of going to this doctor facility, run!!!! There is no communication between the receptionist, nurses, and doctors. I have never once been seen on time for any appointments. I always show up 15 minutes prior, takes 5-30 minutes until I'm taken back then I sit in a smaller room for 10-20 minutes. See the doctor for 5 minutes, then sit waiting again for 15-30 minutes. I've been misdiagnosed which they still haven't followed up with me on my normal results which I found out through OSU. Was told they were going to call in my injectable birth control into the pharmacy, even sent me home with needles (the needle on the medication is too big so I swap out the needle), went to go pick up and they never called it in. Me and my pharmacist sent in another request and we still didn't hear anything. I called and go to find out the request was denied but when were they going to inform me or the pharmacist? I was told I have to come in for my birth control shot which is fine but they didn't have any appointments until January. They want me to come in but have no appointments, makes total sense. And in the past when I use to go in for my shot (scheduled), they would have rescheduled my appointment without even contacting me or my consent. Very unprofessional staff including the doctors.

Everything about this clinic is horrible. I am a patient here and I honestly like going but there are times where it s just too much. When calling the office, the amount of time we have to be on hold is shocking. Where are the office receptionists? One time, actually today (October 14, 2020), I called in because I went to the eye clinic over there. I was getting new glasses since my current ones are getting old and the prescriptions are wearing out. The eye clinic for some reason was closed so I scheduled a call back. I got the call but I wasn t able to answer because I was asleep. So I called in again, and the wait time is just terrible. I scheduled another call back. They called and of course I was available. For some reason she heard me say hello but couldn t hear anything else. Instead of trying to hear the patient and figure out why she couldn t hear, she hangs up. I may not come back to this clinic.

Prescription refill:
I ve been on certain medication for over 10 years.
Seen my doctor a month ago and normally get 3 months scripts. Last time got 1 months worth.
Been calling for 2 weeks now for a refill and they keep saying doctor he not replied to my request.

Now they tell me I need to go see another doctor due to my doctor not being available.??

This place is a joke!
Hire more staff. Take your patients seriously.

This is the best doctors office I ve ever been to. My children and myself go here and the doctors are the most caring and friendly ever. The front staff, although overworked, always go out of their way to help you in anyway. I ve never had a doctors office care as much as they did. They are fantastic

My only complaint is the unreasonably long wait time to get through to this office by phone. I left a request for a callback yesterday and am still waiting today. Otherwise the health care is good.

my first experience was dental, a very positive visit...2nd visit was medical, very rude receptionist, the nurse was nice, the nurse practitioner was good but very pushy and seemed more interested in my prescriptions than in me. She ordered refills that I said wasn't necessary and got them screwed up. I called to get them straightened out and was told I would have to talk to her and she wouldn't be back until 5 days later.
My follow up appt was 1st of August, they called me and cancelled then when I called back to reschedule they told me it would need to be in September. This week I was out of work sick I tried again to make an appt to get in and was told they wouldn't be able to work me in until October.
That isn't even the whole list. I asked to switched over to Primary One cardiology group from my current group. That was May, it's past mid Sept and nothing. I asked them to hold off on recommended colonoscopy due to ongoing heart problem. She scheduled it anyway without telling me.

It is very sad that a health department for people with low resources has lazy, yes lazy, doctors. I had a bad experience seeing a dentist at the Primary One Health clinic located on the west broad street, who even had a conversation with me. He didn t take the time to explain to me if was something wrong with my mouth or what options I had for dental treatment, in case that I need it. I paid for a visit in which his dental assistant (very kind) took images of my teeth and asked about my medical history, and when the dentist arrived to the room, he didn t even see me face to face, he sat behind my back and pull back the chair. He looked at the images say hi to me and simply referred me to a OSU specialist who is expensive and pricey. He never explained to me why he could not attend to me, he never looked at me, only his assistant was the one who kindly walked me to the exit door and told me that they didn t do deep cleanings. But, why do I need it, nobody told me? How many cavities do I have? No one told me. Do I need a filling? No one told me. Do I have bad breath? No one told me. When I tried to meet him again to ask him what is wrong with me, my time was up and he was too busy to assist me. They also have a bad character at the front desk. It bothers them to answer questions but they like to charge you money. The attention of this dentist was poor, basic and without the professionalism or ethics of seeing me in the face and talking with me about my medical case, if I have a medical case. I lost my money and my time and I tell you, don't go, I don't recommend it. The time I was in the waiting room I heard other patients commenting that the dental service is basic, they do not even remove cavities, they only charge you to make images and send you to another dentist. Why do they do this? Is it that they are trained to assist you? Do not know how to remove a tooth decay? So what service do they provide?
