My uncle was just here 3-4 days ago and recently passed away. I wanted to do this review because the staff was amazingly nice and caring. The facility was very clean, sanitized, and welcoming. Welcoming means everything to me. There was very accommodating seating being that our family is extremely huge. I want to say thanks to the entire staff for making my aunt feel welcomed while her husband transitioned. All the staff had smiles on their face. Again thanks for all the gratuity.

I'm only giving 4 stars because our loved one was not in the facility for very long, and I am from out of town, but I felt it was such a serene place. There was a variety of sitting areas when some time is needed away from a resident as well as a comfortable place to sit outside. They were very accommodating as there was plenty of space for a half dozen or more visitors in our loved one's room. The colors were very calming as well as the butterfly theme. Bill (I'm assuming a volunteer) was a treat. He made his rounds with some kind words and a sense of humor. The staff made our loved one comfortable to pass peacefully.

My mother was recently admitted to Columbus Hospice. She was in stage IV renal failure. The facility was very clean and beautiful. The staff was fantastic. Cindy the nurse and Anne the Tech, fabulous. Our whole family stayed around the clock for over two weeks. She passed away peacefully. We were so happy that we chose Columbus Hospice House for comfort end of life care.

Wonderful inpatient hospice unit (the only one in the area) for difficult to manage symptoms. The staff have years of experience and are caring (the nurses are wonderful), the physicians are knowledgeable and board certified, and the building itself is fantastic on the inside and serene-ample parking. I highly recommend this agency not just for their inpatient unit and staff, but also their home hospice services.

Was told I was not immediate family to my brother. Hospice here does not supply compassion to client or family members.

I want to know why I was not notified that my mom was in this place! My younger brother put her there and ONLY he was listed as "next of kin." It looks like my grown son was allowed in too. Why didn't they check who her childten were? I also live here in Columbus not in a foreign country.I found out from my son that she was dead when my brother walked in to see here! Why didn't they know she was dead??? I wonder how long she was dead the morning of Sunday' November 1st ? They refused to tell me what time my mom died. My son told me. He was allowed in but I was not? I spent many years with my mom as she survived life threatening surgeries. When she actually was on the brink of death' I did not get to talk to my dear mom. I cry for her everyday because she died without me. I will suffer for the rest of my life due to the way I was excluded as not being "next of kin." I will always have bad thoughts of this plsce!!!!

Someone actually had the gall to tell me they were going to be too busy to talk for the next couple days and then hung up on me. So much for Southern Hospitality!

Great facility. A very special thank you to the Chaplains, Ms Lisa, Mrs. Margarete, and Ms Barbara. Thank you for making my Grandmother as comfortable as you all possibly could in her final days. I believe my Grandmother was truly happy to be pain free and at peace. The staff was so accommodating to my family during such a difficult time. Their around the clock attentiveness and constant words of wisdom will never be forgotten. I ll forever have a special place for the Columbus Hospice Staff in my heart, thoughts, and daily prayers.

My mother was here. She actually split her time between here and her home. She did pass while at the hospice though and I am glad. You could actually feel the love and compassion from the staff. You could feel it from them and know that it was not just for show. I could never show my appreciation properly to the staff, at least the way I would like to. This place is too notch!

My uncle is currently under Columbus Hospice care. Staff are providing compassionate care and respecting his wishes. I am an also an employee and see the difference Columbus Hospice makes everyday. Thank you!
