The service was excellent! The server named Lucas was awesome too and being a 5 year employee there he gave the service as if to make the first impression the best impression! He made sure our first time was memorable and that we got the best dine in experience that Taste of Texas has to offer! The tomahawk steak was massive and delicious. My wife loved her shrimp and the drinks were on point!

I will be returning so thank you for making my birthday a great one!

Had a great time at Taste of Texas! The salad bar is amazing, it's worth coming here just for salad! It's great for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. My husband really enjoyed his steak and birthday dessert. It was pretty busy around 5pm but joining the waitlist on yelp is helpful. There is plenty of space to wait at the restaurant inside and outside.

We are at the bar with Justin and Jason, the food was incredible, the attention they paid to everyone in the bar area was awesome and the recommendations from drinks to entrees was spot on. If there is a better spot I've never been there. Again the combination of Justin and Jason's attention to every detail was remarkable!

Fantastic! Service was excellent I couldn't have ask for a first time experience. Natalie was on point with refills and she was very helpful with food choices. Five stars all the way. Bonus: you get a free picture with an awesome little firework spark very cool. We will definitely be back.

Meat was fully raw. We can't consume any raw or pink meat, which we specifically said when we ordered. We complained about it since we were hosting guests and no one in our party ate a thing. Never will be eating here again. 100% disrespectful

I loved the salad bar, and definitely appreciate that they had it as a meal option as well. The staff were very accommodating for a guest in our party in a wheelchair, as well as making different seating arrangements when another person in our party requested for us to be sat elsewhere for anxiety related reasons. The whole restaurant is beautiful, including the outside which features lots of flowers, including blue bonnets! I enjoyed eating here.

The food the fun and the service is just what you would expect from this excellent local steak house. Table of 10 and we all enjoyed our meals from the delicious salad bar (gloves on and monitored) to the Jucie thick steaks, with the best sides and the most Amazing desserts! When I get to come back again I am going to ask for Martha V as she could not have been any better and was a great sales person. She is my new favorite server around the country! never missed a Beat make it your business to try this over all the fancy chains.You can pick out your own meat if you choose.

We have eaten there many times but not after COVID 19 until now. Good food but the increased prices make it not worth the cost. The salad bar itself was lacking in items. The salad bar was in bad shape and apparently not being attended to. The wait time between eating the salad and the arrival of the steaks was so long we considered leaving. The service was sub par and not worth a 20% tip ($40.00) and the server had an attitude when we asked when the food was going to be served. The alcoholic drinks were way overpriced. $17.00 for a glass of wine? $9.00 for a glass of beer? The wonderful cinnamon coffee that I used to enjoy after eating at Taste of Texas is no longer complementary. So I guess the increased prices were not enough to receive a free cup of coffee. Better to cook a steak at home and save several hundred dollars. You will not be missing all that much but will be saving a lot of money. It's too bad we will no longer eat at Taste of Texas.

5/31/21: Another birthday celebration here. Great service by Ami N; was very attentive. 8:00p reservation so not too crowded with patrons. Food was prepared as ordered, very delicious. Ordered appetizers, soup, salad, bread, steak skewers, grilled chicken. Enjoyed everything!

Wish I could give this place 7 stars! If you are looking for fine dining, this place is it! Amazing flavor in all the food, even down to the butter. The most attentive, caring staff of any restaurant I have ever been to! You can tell they genuinely want you to be happy, and would chop off their own arm and leg if you asked. Food was fresh, presentation was exquisite, and decor complemented the Texan atmosphere as well. They even recognized it was my first time there and gave me a complimentary dessert and allows me to modify it! If you re looking to spend big and impress, Taste of Texas is the place.
