Fun fun fun it wasn't too large compared to other fair grounds I've been too. There was a lot of drinking but not as many drunk people as you would expect And overall the fair people were so super nice and helpful. My children always knew how to get around and the monster truck rally was insane. Definitely a spot to check out when it's in town. Whether your young younger or the youngest.. old older or oldest there is stuff to do from shopping to rides and above all else SO much to eat. Who doesn't like to eat? ! I only wish there were deep fried Snickers!

Kind of disappointing in my opinion. I ve been to quite a few state fairs and I think this may be in the bottom. In order for the Colorado state fair to be more successful, they need to bring in big name entertainers. People will pay the money to see famous performers and it will bring a bigger crowd. The food vendors are decent and I think that s what has me coming back. I mean the space is adequate and they do not utilize it because I found myself getting bored walking and seeing a lot of empty space, then maybe the fair would be more desirable.

Hate it! Lived within blocks of the fairgrounds and its an eyesore. Run down, ugly, smelly from the horses, and just plain made us decide to move away from the dive town Pueblo has become to florida. Never looking back! Goodbye forever!

The fair is what you would expect it to be; dusty, crowded, booths scattered everywhere, loud music and so much more! Seems as well kept as can be I suppose. I've enjoy what they offer throughout the years.

This is not just for the State Fair. The grounds are also available as a Shelter for people with large animals during Emergency Evacuations. Use Horse gate or Beulah Entrance to get to the Shelter. Event Center is where the Shelter is.

Mainly went for the rides for my 6 yo child to go on. Outrageously expensive. 3 to 5 dollars per ride! The unlimited pass is 35 dollars, which is nearing real amusement park prices (it's there if you include admission price). What the heck, Pueblo? Add in the typical overpriced junky fair food and it feels like yet another money-grubbing racket. Will not be going back until some value returns. City Park is way more charming and affordable.

My husband, son & I go every year. We camp at Lake Pueblo then go to the fair 1 or 2 times and always have a great experience. We love going in the late afternoon so it isn't too hot, and the carnival midway is more fun at night. There are a ton of things to do and see. First thing we do, tho, is get chili wraps. A must have. Then pork-chop-on-a-stick. And Pass Key is always there! We love it!

A fun time was had by all. Most vendors were priced ok, but food and beverages were insanely expensive. The Colorado Renaissance Festival, a comparably venue, has prices half that of the state fair. Eat before you go, and only get beverages. The thieves need to be shut out. A Turkey leg for $15? Go screw yourselves.

The food is great. I miss when the old country acts that used to come around. I love the rides, especially when I was a little girl. I grew up loving horses, obviously the carousel was my favorite ride. I remember always wearing my pink cowgirl hat and pink and white cowgirl boots on the carousel while doing the little yeehaw thing with my cowgirl hat. Watching the rodeos was the best part. Last year, they played "Chattahoochie" by Alan Jackson on the "Arctic Blast" and the carousel was next to it. It brought back so many memories of when I was a little girl. I rode horses in Pueblo West. Enough about me, the atmosphere is beautiful, the concerts are awesome, and the rides are fun. Now the "Crazy Dance" and any ride that spins are my favorite rides.

We parked in the pay lot and it was great that a shuttle was provided both ways. Drove 1.5 hrs to get here and was disappointed that there was not much to see. Food choices were not that great either. Stayed long enough to walk the perimeter and left. Will not be back next year. Two stars are for the driver of the shuttle, had a few laughs with him trying to find my vehicle in the parking lot and took of few pics of farm animals.

Kind of sad. Saw Gabriele Iglesias here and the stadium design ruined the show. Pillars blocking views of the stage, nothing to block sound coming from the concession area... not worth the money spent.

State Fair is hoppin'. Can't beat the ice cream at the Livestock Pavilion to cool off. At other end, see the 4H Exhibits & know there are young people learning useful skills, spending time PRODUCTIVELY & creatively. Demolition Derby goin' on, & an Aerosmith tribute band; bring earplugs & a blanket or something to sit on for AFW amphitheater; I bought a $20 blanket across the st. but then left 'cuz it was just TOO LOUD. I loved the sweet classic rock & country sounds of Jeffry Alan Band, if they were the ones warming up at PB&T Bank Pavilion (much nicer acoustics there,1 of my favorite places to hang, rest, & take refreshment& dig that sweet pedal steel guitar twang). Check the new gimmicks at booths in the Ag Palace . Buy a new hat. STATE FAIR in Pueblo ROCKS.
