I was here for a work trip of my wife's and it is very nice. Everything was clean the staff was very courteous and friendly and the food was delicious. It seems like a very fancy place and a case of you get what you pay for if you live in the area and can become a member you definitely should do so.

Went to a meeting with my father and lunch afterwards. Beautiful building and great service, but the only vegetarian option besides salad bar couldn't be made vegan. Vegan options would be great!

Working for the club proved to be a mistake. Everything started wonderfully, but as time went on, I slowly realized that they couldn't care less about their employees, even though they are the people that keep all their precious members happy. Don't get me wrong, I loved 95% of the membership and they were all very good to me, so I am not here to bash them or talk badly about them. I am simply trying to shed light onto those who are thinking about working there. Don't.
Before saying good riddance, I had been employed for almost 2 years. In that time, I cant even count how many employees I saw come, and go. The turnover is outrageous! We were never fully staffed at any point in my tenure and it was all due to people being lied to during their interviews, and others realizing that they could take their serving/bar-tending/management skills somewhere else where they could actually be valued as an asset to a company rather than being overworked, and under payed.
At a first glance, Colonial is beautiful. It features a pro- level course, classy dining, and is very inviting for families. But they do an incredible job of masking what it's like to keep that place up and running.

And to all members who may read this, I suggest you take your hard earned dollars elsewhere because there is a lot more than meets the eye when it comes to the fabulous Colonial Country Club

Well if you have $60,000 up front to become a member, you can pay an additional $470 a month. What does this outrageous amount of money that could have gone to a good cause get you? You get to play golf on a mediocre course, eat mediocre 'cuisine', and socialize with the scum of Fort Worth. Some of the worst people I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. Mainly lawyers and defense contractors, plenty of TCU alumni. Save your money, or better yet use it to make Ft. Worth a better place for EVERYONE to enjoy.

We just had our daughter's wedding reception at the Colonial on Saturday, November 9th. It was perfect. Taylor Lepore was outstanding through the whole process. She was extremely helpful and professional. The food was delicious and the presentation was lovely. Our guests had a wonderful time. The bride and groom said is was the best night of their life! Service was outstanding. Thank you!

Timeless country club with the friendliest people around. The course is beautiful and greens are immaculate. I had some breakfast a while back and it was the best Eggs Benedict that I have ever had.

This is a beautiful old country club with a storied past and so much history. It is everything you would expect from a PGA level Golf Club, as well as a highly valued and well thought of Social Club. It boasts top-notch facilities for swimming, tennis, social events, and of course golf. The thoughtful staff caters to your every need. For golf history aficionados the club shows quite a few Ben Hogan artifacts. it also gives a great history of each winner for the PGA Golf Tournament there every year. It is set on a spacious campus with 100 year old oak trees abounding. The membership prices are also as expensive as what you would expect from this type of Country Club.

Great country club. One member, Burl Daniel, is a class act. He is concealing his granddaughter Reid from her father, Edward Brown. The Daniels are amazingly lovely people who have not problem lying and deceiving those around them.
