Collierville Animal Services Review

I adopted a kitten from here today. I had a very positive experience here. The staff was very nice, and they went well beyond what I expected.

Amazing team working there! We have gotten multiple animals from them and refer them all the time. Staff is great and truly love what the do and are saving these animals daily by finding them loving forever homes. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone

The Collierville Animal Services i.e. Collierville Animal Shelter (CAS) is dedicated to providing peace, safety, and sanctity for domestic animals! This is an amazing feat that is altruistically tried and true...!!!

This past Friday the Thirteenth (11/13/2020), the CAS coordinated a Black Cat Adoption Event in which we at Perfect Chiropractic were able to sponsor 10 Free Adoptions (towards the Black Cat Adoption Event & the Buddy Program) by donating directly to the CAS in order to continually show our Community support through the National Give Back Movement! The customer service was excellent even when they were busy. The staff was very informative and understanding. They made sure I knew how to trim the claws, what food and litter, copies of my kittens medical records, and told me any concerns I can call them any time. I didn't truly expect to bring a kitten home but I did, meet Jasper my new bestfriend.

They were all super nice when I adopted my 5 mth kitten, Castiel. They are very informative and ensure that their pets go to good homes. For a 50$ adoption fee, my Castiel left microchopped, spayed, mostly updated on his shots, and with food and litter. A great place to find a rescue.

Collierville Animal Services is a wonderful shelter! They treat the animals so well. The employees truly love what they do. We adopted our baby from there this week. She had to stay a little while longer than we expected because she was underweight she d been abandoned on the street for who knows how long before she was taken in by CAS. We went back to see her a couple of times before she could officially go home, and we were delighted at how magnificent the staff was to her and the rest of the animals. Sandy was just amazing and so knowledgeable. Kathy was also very helpful and delightful to talk to. The other ladies there were great, too. If you re looking for another addition to your family, I highly recommend CAS. The animals are happy. The employees are kind. The facility is clean. It makes me so happy to see such a 5-star animal rescue in our backyard!! Thanks for the amazing experience of adopting our sweet baby girl, CAS!!

The lady who came out to talk to us was the rudest person I ve met in a long time. It felt like as soon as we walked in she instantly judged us unworthy of adopting. We had our youngest daughter with us because we wanted to make sure any animal we would adopt would react well to a child and they lady refused to let us see the animal we had come to check out and kept making excuses as to why we couldn t adopt it, to the point of saying that our child (who has been literally raised around cats her entire life) was too young and would potentially pull the cats tail or leg or such. It s such a shame though because the other lady behind the desk was sweet as can be. Maybe the shelter would work a bit better for the animals if the people running it weren t so judgemental and would actually adopt them out.

I m seeing so many bad reviews and it really hurts my heart that people are so offended that the people running this shelter are actually checking to see if you will take care of the animal you intend to adopt by making sure you take care of current ones. This place really helped me out today. I had a baby feral I had been caring for and they took it in and are gonna socialize him. It means so much that they cared enough about the little baby cats life that they helped me help it. I will never forget how good they treated me and how much I appreciate the fact that they care about the animals. *tears up* thanks for being such wonderful people!

We read the reviews and we were a little bit concerned prior to going to CAS. However, I'm happy to report in the end the experience turned out to be very good for our family.

The volunteer staff took the time to spend with us to make the correct choice for our family. Special thank you to Suzanne and Joanne who wanted to ensure we made the right choice with our little kitten we took home.

We selected Eva and she's been a joy to have at her forever home. We're so happy we went to CAS, and if you have the time to spend selecting your next four legged friend, then we'd recommend this shelter to anyone. They took the time, at over 2+ hours to spend with us even though they were very busy on a holiday weekend!!
