Great all-round mountain holiday with fabulous location in the Dolomites. Well trained, enthusiastic and helpful staff on hand. Organised walks and other activities to prevent boredom. Office hour and the communal dining are great places to socialise as well as getting the latest information. Colletts do similar holidays in other European mountains too. I would thoroughly recommend them.

Colletts tick all the boxes when looking for a walking holiday in a beautiful location. Great staff, great hotels, great locations and superb walking!

I attended a 5 days ski trip with Collett s. The staff was amazing, service fantastic, and the skiing was incredible. I highly recommend them for a winter skiing or summer climbing holiday! Superb!!!

For great walks in stunning mountain locations with like minded people a Colletts holiday offers this and more. The staff both in the UK and on location are attentive, enthusiastic and friendly. The flexibility to arrive and depart on any day suits my schedule perfectly too.

Amazing holiday ,with amazing staff. The help from office team in UK to the chalet staff was second too non . Made to feel welcome and part of a friendly group of young and not so young guides .Amazing doesnt do them justice . If you only do 1 holiday this year then this should be it .

I ve been on a couple ski holidays with Collett s. The food, drink and accommodation were excellent quality and great value compared to other chalet holidays I ve been on. The staff were friendlier, more knowledgable and did not give you the hard sell on excursions that larger tour operators will.

We had an absolutely fabulous holiday with Collett's, walking part of the Camino de Santiago. Attention to detail was perfect! Really well-chosen accommodation and fantastic assistance by their wonderful local guide Javier. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I have been on 3 Colletts holidays in the Dolomites. Suitable for anyone for any age. I am 77 and can still find walks that are easy or hard depending on your ability. There are also adrenaline fulled walks and (very safe) climbs for the more adventurous. The staff and accommodation is excellent. The food and camaraderie at the evening meals is excellent.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE HOLIDAYS.

I ve stayed at Eastfield Lodge, Leyburn, a couple of times now and thoroughly enjoyed both visits. The Lodge is comfortable, welcoming and spotlessly clean, with on site parking, which is a boon. Leyburn is a good location, with lots to see and do in the area, and the town has some excellent pubs and good places to eat within easy walking distance of the Lodge. Henry and Penny are very knowledgeable about local walks, at all levels from gentle , easy pace to challenging treks, and the resources room has information on pretty much anywhere you might want to visit for miles around. Really recommend.

I recently used Colletts to book a 7 day hut to hut trip with my 3 mates (all in mid 60s) in Pyrenees . Their service was superb. Kelly who did all the heavy lifting was extremely helpful in answering our questions and quickly responding to our inquiries. Viv took care of our office issues ,adding members , dropping members .with patience and humor. On the ground , Sian , Saint Luz Sauveur continued their excellence in customer service with local color, helpful hints and enthusiasm. Anuk our hostess in Cauterets was equally helpful, going far beyond what was necessary. We highly recommend this trip to trekkers who want to see a incredible part of the world with a fantastic company that knows the area well and has great contacts with the Refugios. We could not of been more pleased.

Had an amazing time in the Dolomites, accommodation was superb and the staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Would 100% recommend.

We stayed in Arraba in Italian Dolomites for our walking holiday. Collett's customer service was outstanding with the ease of booking to pre-trip information and helpful reps when out there. They even gave us a free upgrade to the Sport Hotel as Haus Valentine was closing early at end of season. Food drink particularly the wine were excellent and the scenery simply stunning. Will be returning!

My wife and I have been going hill-walking with Colletts for over a decade. It's a mix of cultural variety, value for money, and awe-inspiring scenery that brings us back time after time. Whereas our most recent trip with CMH took us to the south of Spain to Andalucia, in and around the beautiful little town of Competa, we have throughly enjoyed earlier holidays to the Spanish Pyrenees crossing the border into France and before that hiking up and down Italy's majestic Domomites where local people speak Ladin and German.

We have been on holiday with Collett's about a dozen times both skiing and walking, which just about says it all!
The prices are reasonable and there is a lot of flexibility in departure/arrival arrangements. It's holiday not a selling opportunity for in resort 'extras'.
The experience has been the same and consistently excellent over 15 years, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
The unique thing about Collett's is the quality of the in resort hosts, whatever their age (and there are lots of ages!) they are engaging, inspirational and committed to both providing a great service and the mountains-but not usually in that order!
Finally the back office is personalised and particularly helpful.

Great holiday in a beautiful place, went for the spring flowers and wasn t disappointed!
Staff all friendly and accommodating. Accommodation good.
Loved the way you could choose dates of arrival and departure to suit us, also met some like minded fellow travellers every evening for shared dinner at office Hour great fun. Good to have choices of graded walks to suit ability and preference.

We used Collett s to book and travel with for a summer walking holiday to the Italian Dolomites. From ease of booking through to communications, transfers and accommodation everything was well organised and smooth. We had a fabulous holiday in one of their half board chalets which was super clean and comfortable and the food outstanding.
There was the option of guided walks at lots of levels, which we enjoyed low level ones of as we were travelling with young children.
The holiday was great value, well organised and thoroughly enjoyable. We ll book with Collett s again.

We've stayed at Eastfield Lodge in Leyburn a few times now and will continue to return. We always get a warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The dinners are homemade and hearty and the breakfasts are worth getting up for - I don't like black pudding but the one served at breakfast if from the village butchers and is delicious. The rooms are beautifully furnished and the beds are very comfortable - I always sleep like a log!. The property is in the town centre so close to shops, restaurants and pubs. There are some wonderful walks nearby and some great country roads to drive around. If you're coming to North Yorkshire, then I would strongly recommend coming to Leyburn and staying at Eastfield Lodge.

My dad and I recently finished the Camino tour with Collett's. This is my second tour with Collett's (previously did a wonderful Dolomites tour).

The tour was excellent, from start to finish. The logistics, from arrival transport, luggage transport, and taxi pick-up, was efficient and well-organized. Javier, the on-the-ground guide, provided wonderful walking cards and a very thorough briefing to get us started on our self-guided walking tour.

The accommodations were all unique and very nice. They were local places that we would have not been able to find ourselves! The provided lunches were good and more than sufficient. The provided dinners (3 in all) were also good, although we much preferred to go out and find our own bars and pintxos!

The walking itself was beautiful and hilly. Most of the walking is along the coast and is stunning. The alternative paths provided a nice amount of challenge and were absolutely worth it for the views.

We did the peaks of the Pyrenees in July with Collette's and had a fantastic walking holiday.
It's the first time we've used them but certainly won't be the last everything was handled in a professional and friendly manner. From pick up at the airport to drop off we were transported too and from the walks by considerate staff who took the trouble to get to know everyone as they accompanied us on the road and trails making everyone feel valued.
The walks in the mountains were stunning and the paths we took to the peaks often meant we were only sharing with our group and the vultures and marmots.Each evening office hour gave us chance to unwind and learn about the challenges of the
coming day.
Exceptional service was the hall mark of this friendly family hotel, meals were excellent all served with a smile and a little help and encouragement with practising our Spanish.
I've traveled with lots of different companies to walk the mountains and can honestly say Collette's gave us an unforgettable experience, we will use them again.

I had the most wonderful holiday with Collett's in Ehrwald in July. I was travelling as a single and didn't know what to expect, never having hiked with an operator before. I shouldn't have worried as the experience was spectacular. Collett's staff was incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough and the other guests were extremely jolly and congenial to a person. I plan to try Collett's program in the Dolomites next summer. Issue of being single hiker solved forever!

In early July my wife and I had a truly magnificent holiday with Colletts in Erwhald. The scenery was stunning with some equally stunning walks with the most memorable, for myself, being the Zugspitz Challenge. Our hotel accommodation was comfortable and well appointed and we were 'fed and watered' to a very high standard. Finally our thanks must go to the Colletts team in Erwhald; they could not have been more helpful and friendly. In short a very memorable holiday.

We have been having regular holidays with Collett s since 2002 and it is a holiday which always guarantees to deliver a great time. The standard of the accommodation is always excellent and the walks are amazing. Even if you do not do the organised walks the staff will take time to identify one for you through their comprehensive selection built up over many years. It is always great meeting the young teams in the resorts who are always great fun. Due to our regular visits we often see the same team members as well as regular guests. Not once over our 19 trips have we ever heard any of the staff mutter any vague complaint about the company. Collett s take as much pride in their staff as well as ensuring guests have a superb holiday.

Just returned from a week in the Picos de Europa. the fourth excellent holiday we've had with Colletts. Our group of like-minded walkers 'gelled' very well together, helped by the very pleasant and sensible Colletts staff.

Ideally situated in the charming small town of Leyburn in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, it's a great place for some stunning walks via a decent pub or two! Eastfield Lodge is a warm and very comfortable place to come back to after a challenging day walking. There is always advice on hand for the best route for all levels of walking. In the evening just a few minutes stroll away there are numerous pubs and restaurant . Would thoroughly recommend staying here
