My two children went to school there. To enjoy a good teaching with institutes and competent teachers, I recommend it.

I love this school but 2 viruses to avoid:

Staff on the phone very contemptuous, the limit of the insult and who does not try to help you. We recognize the French staff. My child will go to a school where parents and students are respected.

Salam to all the brother, I advise there I learned to use the 4color pen for but brother who does not know without being useful I advise the drawing courts. Great !!!! I also learned to make water leather I recommend math classes for that. In short thank you Marie from France bizou

Marie de France is a wonderful school which is out of question. here I want to remind all the students parents ENSURE choose the right store to buy your kids class stuff .
Marie de france has 2 nominated book store could get the required class stuff ( textbook, notebook, worksheet...etc ) . Just alarm you guys do NOT go to 1507 Van Horne Montreal, H2V 1L4, Store name Boutique Scolaire Lycee ---- it is the worst store EVER! it is managed by a Asian family I believe so it is a family store --which does not bother me--- the problem is they could PURPOSELY sell the wrong stuff to you then told you NO-Refund ... you know the new parents have no clue for those stationery code means what but the store is crystal clear about it, however, still they could sell you the wrong thing ---my daughter's list including 5 items, 3 of them buying from this store are the wrong (we showed them the list from school when purchasing to make sure there is NO misunderstanding ) !!! can you image it ? when school teacher told us it is wrong thing, we just came back to return it , but experienced the worst service which never met in my life... we just bought it before yesterday, and keep the items brand new without any stain or damage , have no clue why our refund was rejected !! eventually they are forced to return the $$ but threaten us CAN NOT go to their store anymore.
really speechless though... if you do not want the same nightmare as us, be away from this store, instead, go to another one in laval, which is a bit far but it is a professional big company with free packing place , I just found all the correct items from there and service is super ! good luck

Semi private French school that follows mainly the French curriculum .

For having spent 14 years as a student, I can say that this college is part of the elite of private schools in Quebec.
The high cost of studies may shock many but it is an investment that is definitely worth it.
The teachers are dedicated and try to draw the maximun of each student.
The only negative aspect that I could raise is the rather restrictive framework. Students are forced to follow a predefined path and are not sure which way to go after the Baccalaureate.
This must be part of the French mentality (rigor and supervision), which is not bad in itself when you move in the system, but once out of it, it's pretty disorienting.
But other than that, I highly recommend!

I have been going to this school for 10 years, from kindergarten to high school. Kindergarten was good for the type of child, the primary was correct. By cons, their secondary is to be avoided at all costs. Teachers and staff who have no respect for others and students, do not use the appropriate language, and in the end simply live the kings of the earth. Teachers who like to humiliate you and make fun of you when you have trouble learning instead of helping you. There will always be teachers I love, many teachers who have helped me with my apprenticeship, but in general, they all have the same mentality.

disappointed. too many activities. neglected teaching for the benefit of outings and holidays. we learn as much from the public. as for teachers, teaching from below And then, very few regulations concerning school life. At the exit the students smoke like firefighters, no exclusion zone. Highly lung cancer! and the laptop is accepted. no, this institution does not pay homage to French education

To answer the person saying there must be a problem, they change principals, yes they do, every four years.
CIMF is a French school not a Quebecquois school. They are part of the AEFE, the agency for French Education abroad.

this school is too stessing and does not help many students with learning problems. If there is a one-hour math test, students who need more time do the test in one hour. even if the bar is changing for them, some students with learning problems who know what to do but no time to finish their test can not show their ability in some subjects.

My little brother loves this school and I visited it today at the open house. I liked it.

An excellent establishment worthy of the great Parisian establishments. Involved professors who make all the difference, the right mix between discipline and humanity so difficult to find ... Scientific training is reinforced because they add Quebec complements in math and physics. The best of both systems is brought together here, we are delighted to have chosen Marie de France.

One of the very best private schools in Montreal. Excellent academic staff and program. Comes highly recommended

It seems there are persistent problems with the School Board in this College. In the last 5 years there have been three Principals. There is too much going on behind the doors.

Lots of RACIST teachers and students. I spent all my college years there, it was very difficult. For non-white people, do not register your children. Thank God I left.
