The Coliseum of Porto is degraded, it is in urgent need of root works. As for the show "Circo de natal" It was terrible, it shouldn't have quality compared to previous years. And case to say it was a shame.

Cozy

I went to watch a show and stayed on the stands.
The stands were already too full but the employees were doing their best to fill them up even more.
The way the stands were used was deplorable: people had to occupy all the steps of the benches. This means that no one could lean back to have some back support or lean forward because, apart from having no room to move their feet, if they did that, they would be pricking their knees on the backs of people in the next row. What I saw on the stands was a shameful game of Tetris in which the management of the event was pushing all the pieces by force without worrying that all would be well aligned just for the sake of getting more profit.
When the show ended, I decided to sit on the bench while the rest of the people left, but to my surprise, one of the staff at the Colosseum came to expel us because we were supposed to wait in the hallway. And so it was. Instead of waiting on the bench (because the people were still leaving the upper floor first), I had to wait, standing in a crowded hallway.
I had never been treated like a cattle head in the middle of a herd toward the slaughterhouse. Unfortunately, there is a first time for everything and, for that, mine was in the Colosseum.
Advice for management: if you do not have space for that many people, sell fewer tickets; let people leave calmly and without hurrying;
The comedian, at the beginning of the show, joked that there were many people and, if there was an emergency, everyone should be calm. Only at the end of the show did I understand. If anything had actually happened, it would not go well for the people inside.

The city's main concert hall was saved 'in extremis' from passing into the clutches of the IURD in 1995 by a popular action movement, and today it is managed by the Association of Friends of the Coliseu do Porto.
Opened in 1941, it has a capacity of 4,000 seats.
The program is characterized by eclecticism: opera, ballet, concerts or circus, all the stage arts fit here.

Historic building of Porto, although it is an old building that has a good state of preservation, it is a room that has a mystical and very intimate surroundings in terms of contact with the artist. Long live the Porto Coliseum.

The concert was pleasant but the acoustics and the hall itself arw in need of much improvement.
We attended a concert on Sept. 22nd. While the members of the orchestra and the conductor were exemplary, the hall is in dire need of repairs.
The price was very reasonable, in fact much less than we expected to pay. For a Saturday evening, the hall was barely full. There is much potential to improve this historical coliseu.

A spectacular space. The acoustics are excellent and the location is wonderful. It may be a small space but it makes the concerts intimate and close with the musicians. They could do recovery works because the space has enormous cultural wealth and stunning beauty.
