After 5 years studying here, I can affirm to be satisfied, in general, with the teaching staff, the facilities, the campus and, very importantly, the administration (all this, at least in the Faculty of Law). The only downside is the distance, but it has been worth it.

I went to this university to do a Black Berry course there. It has very good infrastructure and very good buildings. A great university Recognized by everyone, so much that it has many students from other countries. I liked it too much. My friends who had a great time there liked everything there. Very good teachers and very good academic support.

They give publication preference to positive ratings.
But the reality is that the Autonomous University leaves a lot to be desired for most. The quality of teaching is lousy, most of the teachers do not show interest in the students and because they learn, they explain the subject poorly as they arrive they drop their syllabus and leave, and in many cases they do not even explain the content, there is a clear ideological indoctrination, some miss class or are late and usually do not roll call.
It is easy for the student to stop feeling committed to their studies.
I study in the Faculty of Economics and Business and the situation is the same in the rest of the faculties.
The only positive is that the facilities are good, both sports and classrooms, there is free access to study rooms, books and computers and transportation is well located.
However, the content that is the key to teaching is where this public university fails.

An incomparable experience studying in this wonderful university, surrounded by gardens and sports spaces, has the advantage that although it is in the north of Madrid it is very well connected since it has a commuter train that runs every 15 minutes. The center is a pass, but with the heat waves of the last summer that the building does not have air conditioning ... leaves much to be desired. The cafeteria service is very efficient and fast, and the food is very good. This very well connected to the city and the campus is one of the best I've seen.

A university with a wide range of careers. The level is very good, one of the best in Madrid. I recommend it especially for science careers, because the laboratories are very well equipped. Another good thing is the campus. It is separated from Madrid, so you can take a walk without the continuous noise of cars. Without a doubt the best public university in Madrid and perhaps in Spain. The campus is just amazing, very big and green, full of grass areas and always full of people, lots of life. It is also the only university in Madrid that has all its faculties on the same campus except medicine, which makes for a much more lively and university environment (I really don't know what logic it is to separate the faculties as other universities do). Regarding the strictly academic, in the law school the truth is that there is a good level, good teachers, people are happy. There is no comparison between studying in the Autonomous than in others such as King Juan Carlos, for example ... Although both are public, the difference is abysmal.

The downside of this campus is its remoteness from the urban center. This makes getting there, by public transport, a very long and tedious journey. The worst thing is that when you get there, if, for example, you have to go to the computer school, you should take a good walk until you arrive. At night, when leaving class it is even worse, since in winter, at night and with the cold due to its proximity to the mountains ... however much streetlight we see it becomes eternal.

However, the Autonomous University of Madrid continues to stand out for its research, exchange programs and academic level. Of course there is no better way to soak up the university environment than to visit it.

I have studied at other universities and now I am doing a PhD here. I do not believe the reviews that say that you can not contact by phone, it is a lie. Nor do I believe that one of the 50 best universities in the world in physics is lacking in knowledge.

I did not do a degree at the UAM but I think it is a great university with a huge campus and many people at your disposal for any problem that arises!

For me it has been fortunate to train at the Faculty of Law of the Autonomous University of Madrid. There is always a regular teacher, but the balance is positive and I would repeat as many lives as I could.

It was a great year where I had the good fortune to meet wonderful people and have very good teachers. Although it is a bit far from the center, it can be said that it has one of the best campuses in the city. I recommend it to everyone!

Almost all the faculties of this university are here, which is a great point in their favor, as well as being surrounded by green on all sides and many facilities and facilities for students with residence and sports activities included.

Public transport (both commuter and bus) arrives quite often and the atmosphere is international and youthful. If you use a car you have plenty of room to park in any of the car parks.

Personally I am studying here, I am going to spend many hours and the truth is that I am quite satisfied to be a student of the UAM even in spite of the "distance" that there is from here to the center of the city. The teachers that have touched me so far are very good and I have learned a lot with them, although I suppose it will depend on the career you choose.

Some faculties need improvement. And well there are horrible teachers but that as everywhere I suppose, there are also good ones of course.

I have an excellent memory of this university. The teachers were very good and equal in all groups.
