Amazing venue. Small and comfortable with great acoustics. Staff are terrific. Highly recommended.
Beautiful historic building. Handicapped accessibility is a little awkward, but adequately addressed. Great audience experience and wonderful, knowledgeable, competent staff.
Came here for a Ryan Montbleau show the other day and was pleasantly surprised. The venue is nice and cozy, as you might expect a theater to be, which made the show very fun and intimate. For the price of a general admission ticket, you can be right in front of the stage - comparable to being in the pit of a bigger amphitheater. If there s something going on here that you re interested, would definitely recommend checking it out!
Great friendly Staff, I will definitely be going back to see other concerts
Beautiful historical venue. Wide array of entertainment!
Great views from anywhere and the sound system if fantastic
Went to a wedding there. It's a nice place, was prettyed up for the wedding...
What wonderful afternoon at Cohoes Music Hall. Always Patsy Cline was marvelous. Not the easiest stairs to climb for the elderly etc but worth the effort. ( there are available elevators)
Great historical building, wonderful sound, great acts, will continue to see shows here.
Great local shows. Historic venue is worth seeing. We parked across the street so it was easy to get in and out.
What an amazing find, I d never been to this place in my 53 years in the Capital District. I never knew it was there but will definitely be going back.
Maintaining it's historical roots the 4th oldest still active theater is getting some love from the Park Playhouse productions.
Great place to see live music such an intimate venue
It's over 140 years old. Historic but quirky, especially the balcony.
Old school venue, good acoustics, intimate setting, comfortable seating.
New years eve comedy show was great, the comedians were funny and the night flew by. The seating is very uncomfortable after the first hour, but the building is a historic gem, every seat is a good one.
Great fun. Not a bad seat in the place easy in and easy out.
Thoroughly enjoyed Jerry Lee Lewis vs Jerry Lee Lewis on 2/29/20. Incredibly talented cast. Playwright Jefferson McDonald shined as Jerry in the energetic and fascinating take on the life of the Rock 'n Roll master. A must see. Thanks to the entire cast for a truly memorable evening.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Park Players performance of the Best Christmas Pagent ever! The cast, especially the younger members did an excellent job. Parking was a challenge and all the handicap spots were taken. It would help if they added more HC parking and provided better sinage to help locate the elevator from teh ground level.
Extraordinary little theater, worn and ornate, with a devoted fan base and crew. I had a memorable show here.
A small theater that has a lot of charm and great artwork. Bring a somewhat tall guy at 6'4, there was surprisingly good leg room.
Last two shows have been very good and it's a great place to see play.... Urinetown and avenue q both fun
Music here is one of top ten acoustic places to her music. Not big so all seats are good seats
Bummer.
8:00 Eric Johnson show.
9:07, ej yet to take the stage.
Will this be two lousy ej shows at Cohoes in a row?
Opener played way too long, and it's going on thirty minutes in between sets.
Ridiculous.
Had a wonderful time and great learing fun facts here..
Wonderful place with a great lady who runs the historical side.
the play Annie was really good. my sister, girlfriend and i all enjoyed it. looking to come again in 2020
Awesome shows, great general manager, and amazing staff
Park play house production of Little Shop of Horrors was very well done.
Seats were comfortable and acoustics were good.
Quite a bit of stairs to get to theater but that can't be helped.
Good overall experience with very accomplished young performers.
An ICONIC building with much to offer! I've been there a few times to see different shows, plays, comedy acts etc....Always enjoyed myself!
Seats were extremely uncomfortable no clear parking signs
Great little venue. Nice to see these old halls being saved! Good acoustics too.
Seats are small and close together like you would expect in an older theater
Beautiful old style music hall. Regular chairs for seating and upholstered bench style seating for the side sections.
Great music venue, unique antique structure. NOT good for anyone who needs physical accessibility, there are a hellish amount of stairs.
Beautiful, intimate venue. A unique experience to say the least.
Cohoes Music Hall works since 1870, keeps all the magic of its time. Now you can enjoy shows and musical, very good performances.
Awesome place. Really old and cool. Not a bad seat in the house.
A notable architecturally significant historical music Hall - worth a visit
Great venue.. every seat is a great seat. Well staffed with very helpful and friendly people. Beer and wine available. Their sign is amazing; very retro
What a cool place. Stop in and check out the venue.
It's just beautiful. I was there for a political get together. Since I use a cane the have a elevator which is a real convience.
My wife and I saw John Waite on Saturday (10/20/18). It was our first time going to the Music Hall. We absolutely loved the history and the intimate setting. The concert was wonderful and all the staff working at the Music Hall were kind and courteous. Thank you for the memorable experience.
The Abbott's
Johnstown, NY
Liked it a lot, parking wasnt bad. Seats in balcony weren't that comfortable though
Cute place for a show
Seats uncomfortable
I loved the heritage and the intimacy of the place. The theater is old but It feels like the performance is just for you and a few guests. It's definitively a special experience to attend a performace there.
What a great place living in Cohoes all my life places looking great keep up the good work Cohoes proud
My favorite venue. Something about the size of this music hall, almost makes it like your own personal concert. The building is beautiful and the acoustics are always spot on.
This place was awesome. We saw Sweeney Todd there. The play was awesome. The music Hall was great. I highly recommend it. I also have to add that the employees were extremely friendly and helpful.
If you enjoy up close and personal entertainment this is the place for you.went there for the first time ever,l loved it.I am going again this month can't wait
The haunted history tour was worth it. Had a tour of the music hall with history. I th was well done. Then we were split into groups to check different parts of the hall for paranormal activity. The process was thoroughly explained and we each monitored a different piece of equipment. I went with my son and we both found the whole thing intriguing.
