If I could give this place a worse review I would took a deposit of 2500 from me to start looking at case didnt do anything for me other than ignore my phone calls and take 1000 from my deposit they are crooks and I recommend you stay away
The worst lawyer experience we had ever, We were going through so many problems already trying to evict tenant who was not paying rent and doing illegal activities. We went to Cohen highley for help but they also spam you with your money. Took all our money and do nothing. We try to call many times but they were not responding.
The Lawyer we had experience with her name is Stephanie Marentette Di Battista, Usually other lawyer do first free consultation but they charged $280 for first consultation and made us pay retainer $1500 and never helped. We withdraw and closed our file from them and asked our money back but they do nothing. and talk very rudely. Extremely bad service :(
Very unethical should be reported to the law society of upper Canada.
I have Real Estate lawyer named Brian Phillips. Excellent lawyer, I know him approximately 15 year.since,my sister bought house, I hired Brian Phillip for buying her house. Since then, I recommend all my family and friends to go to him. He helps me for everything. Also, Reception lady is so friendly and she transfer calls right way and her lovey voice and manner full words make you smile. Excellent service.

I have been in and out court over the same small claims issue now for over 5 years and I just wanted it to come to an end so that I could move on. My lawyer in Sarnia does not do litigation and she recommended C.H. to me. Wanted a lot of money just to come in and discover if I even had a case to present in court. Radio ad made it seem friendly and helpful but I found neither of those things applied. I was expecting to pay up to be represented but I didnt expect to have to pay 350 dollars to get what I assumed could be handled in a 2 minute phone call.

The financial person Denise was excellent though.
My problem is Ian sneddon said "if you need more time to pay that's fine". My first bill was $2795.80, a month later another bill came in $2903.55. the charge was for an advisement phone call they said was free, I even have the email and picture of that being said. Also got the feeling he wanted to drag this into court so they could make more money.
They clearly just care about taking your money. I know they have adds on the radio but that doesn't mean their good. Watch your pockets and hope this helps out someone looking for good lawyers that want to help you instead of take your money. Take care guys and good luck.
