COBO Center Detroit Regional Convention Facility Authority Review

The new Cobo Hall called TCF is the heart of the city's international following for the major events that come to town. Now with a revitalized downtown, there are plenty of interesting hotels, restaurants and fun places to see and have a good time in that make Detroit now like all other cities: a great place to travel to, learn from and have fun. Parking can be difficult

The show is just too plain. All they ever want is to try and get your personal information, they won't even let you inside most cars. Acura was taking people's information just to let you sit inside the NSX otherwise you couldn't seat in the drivers seat at all, come on people. It seems like the manufacturers are not putting too much effort into showcasing their products into the show anymore. The only ones that still seem excited about displaying their cars at the show are the Koreans, even the Japanese are slacking off at the displays, specially Infiniti. The Korean manufacturers are thriving in the USA because they still pay attention to their clientele.

Nice place to have an event. You have to pay for parking and that is a minus for me. Beautiful banquet halls large and small. Great views of the Detroit River and Riverfront depending upon the room you select. Easy to get to right off the freeway. The renovations are very nice. I wish they will bring back the Flower Show and Festival of Trees and more.

Be sure to check out the Amerixan Notion (@nicnotion) art piece on the 2nd floor..... and for historical purposes, #thewolfofwoodward remains undefeated at Cobo Hall in basketball. Although the gym no longer exists, the Renaissance high school legacy shall bring the winner out of everyone! Enjoy Detroit.

We were here for the Detroit auto show! It was a nice atmosphere with people around that could help. Amazing auto show as well! Building and show room floors were all maintained and kept tidy.

Huge. Eating places made far below expectation. Loved Joe Louis exhibit.

That was a great day at the auto show. However. There was one pull back to that day. PARKING, oh my goodness, it took us 2 hours to find parking nearby Cobo. . It was worth the trip

I walked through here trying to find my way to Joe Lewis Arena. It looks like a pretty cool place. I think there was a car show going on or something.

Building is large and clean, a great place to hold conventions at. Traveling there is simple.

Place was huge and the Smash event I went to was fun. Bathrooms were clean (Sounds small but is important) and staff was friendly. Had bicycles located out front for rental which was super convenient

I've only been here for the NAIAS each year but it is mindblowing.

Is there a better place in Detroit for a convention? Not one!

Love the cobo center. We came for the Auto Show. We will definitely be back for other events.

Auto show was excellent! Cobo was very clean and represented the city of Detroit and the State of Michigan very well!

Went to Deca here and it was pretty exciting and a great place to be.

All but one door cable locked from the inside. FIRE HAZARD.

This is a very large place and is one of the biggest i have seen. NAIAS is a massive event that takes place here every January of the year. It is the largest Auto Show in the world. It holds some of the rarest, most expensive and most exclusive cars. Major car companies come here every year to show off their new inovative or just plain extreme cars. I recommend it as a must see. It is by far my favorite time of year as a car lover.

Great convention center. Recent renovation have improved everything, from the food, scenery to increased size and better access to the riverfront.

Went to auto show. I like the layout of the facility. Easy to get around and bathrooms are everywhere.

I didn't find out until after we left that there were cars on three floors for the autorama and we only seen one as we thought that's all there was. Whoever did the promoting did a poor job

Auto show was great! Clean building. Newly renovated. To top it off the people mover drops u off right in the building! :-D

Attended a convention for real estate at Cobo. While the facility itself is rather nice and the food was good, the overall layout with entrance to parking, entrance to building, to coat check (just an unattended rack) was Awful.
