Fantastic course. Best views on an Ontario course. A must play!

Only visited the restaurant. Food was fantastic! A few local beers on tap which is nice. Service was slow for us, but something tells me it was not the norm. Great dinner!

I was there recently for lunch, meeting my husband and friends after their golf game. The lunch was delicious, beautifully presented, and expertly served. Very friendly and welcoming staff, yet very professional as well.

The course is great, with views of the Georgian Bay. Conditions were immaculate

We went up for the concours car show .. pretty nice place and well taken care of. The show was awesome and they had a good way to move people in and out of the event . Despite the threatening weather it was a fine day

Great golfing, Inn, spa, dining, and weddings! 5 Stars seems low.

Nice course but the ads on the golf carts are annoying. Every hole there are 1-2 ads that hinder the pace of play. Forcing you to wait before you can see the course map.

This is a lovely place to eat, golf, spa and stay overnight. Views and accommodations are amazing.

Had an amazing day at Cobble Beach. Enjoyed a delicious lunch & 18 holes of golf. So impressed by the beautiful scenery and even more by the best trained, warm, helpful staff ever. Wow!

Stunning vistas, beautiful and very comfortable accommodations, great hospitality & food. Overnight, the air was very dry in the room though.

What a track! Tough layout, but a view of the water from almost every hole! Advice; take a cart - green to tree can be long; the nap of the green always leans toward the water

Either something changed or maybe some trolling. I was there last year for a golf tournament and couldn't sing there praises loud enough. Course was nothing short of stunning, food was good, and staff was accommodating. I will book a round with them this summer, because they earned my business the first time.

We attented a wedding on the premises. Very scenic and beautiful. We also played golf as well. Great course, and the ranger Phillip, was just great. He went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of

Good course. Greens were double cut and rolled, so quick. Course is well maintained (tee boxes, fairway, and greens).
Fairways are fair, no crazy holes. A few holes you need to think about what to hit off the tee and where you want the ball to end up.
Was worth the money.

Beautiful grounds. Was here for the Cobble Beach Concours D'elegance. Great show, incredible scenery. Love the cars on the golf course.

Beautiful course, fast, immaculate greens. Staff was friendly, and helpful. Only small knock would be the clubhouse could have been made a little larger with more amenities. Worth playing and enjoying the spectacular views!

Absolutely stunning! Attended a wedding here and was blown away by everything from the views to the food.

I'm not sure how anyone could give this place less than 5 stars. For the gentleman who complained that he was mistreated due to his race, I have a feeling he says that about everywhere he goes and plays the victim card of race discrimination. What a shame. And what a misleading review he left.
As a previous employee, I highly recommend Cobble Beach for golfing, food and weddings! PS. *I have never experienced race discrimination at Cobble*. The course is challenging for all levels of golfers and has a beautiful view of the water at all holes.
The food is exceptional. Truly divine! Hats off to the Chef! The food is my absolute favourite in the Owen Sound area. All the food ingredients are local as well. What a treat!
The weddings are extremely organized and beautifully executed. The customer service is exceptional as well. The staff always go above and beyond!

High place for Golf and food on the water and only 10 minutes from Owen Sound

Very nice course. Beautiful vistas and perfectly manicured greens and fairways. My only complaints would be the impossible greens on a few holes due to pin placement, and there was no beverage cart the day I went. Had to go 9 holes without any water. Most higher end courses have water bottles, jugs, or fountains every few holes.

We were there for the Concours d'elegance classic car show. Classic cars displayed on the 18th fairway. Lovely scenery with the greens on one side and the water on the other.

My favourite golf course. Fantastic views of Georgian Bay from most holes. Very challenging round with fast greens.

Loved spending the long weekend here, so many things to do: XC skiing, fat bikes, snow shoeing all over the property and along the shore of Georgian Bay. Great staff and a beautiful warm atmosphere.

Interesting dining experience on Saturday Feb. 17 at their Restaurant. Ordered a "Vegetable Stir Fry" now most of us know what to expect from that menu description.... a dish that is primarily Vegetables that are stir fried. what I got was a bowl of boiled noodles with possible 3 thread like bits of a boiled not identifiable vegetable. In plain English, I got a bowl of noodles doused in an incredibly sugary sauce ..... almost inedible if you have sugar restrictions (but who would expect that from a "vegetable stir fry" .... couldn't believe it. Of course my wife wouldn't let me complain and spoil the visit..... so, if you do go there to eat make sure you quiz your server in detail re what you will receive. I'd give it a zero stars if I could.

If I could I would give Cobble Beach four and a half stars as a wedding destination. The overall experience was excellent but not perfect.

I recently attended a wedding at Cobble Beach. I was very impressed with the entire experience. The patio was lovely, the service was fantastic and the views can't be beat.

The quality of the food at dinner was excellent but the portions a little small. Fortunately the wedding I was attending had a buffet later so I can fill up on that as well.

The washrooms are very small in their new facility. It's a little surprising as it's obvious it was an expensive Hall to build. In the men's there is only one stall and two very tight urinals and a very small sink. When you're dealing with 120 wedding guests, lines tend to form during breaks in the ceremonies.

I was a little concerned with the fact that it was my understanding you would have to share parts of the facilities with golf members who are not attending the wedding however that was not an issue at all.

I'm sure it was not an inexpensive wedding but if you can afford it they definitely provide an excellent experience for wedding guests.

Wow, what a different experience. Great views, great layout, great service. Dont pay full price so watch for a deal.

Unbelievable staff, amazing course, beautiful scenery. Its the little things that make this place add up to an amazing experience. You are treated like royalty from beginning to end. Look forward to my Stay and play with family in Mid-May 2016.
Would recommend for any level golfer. Challenging for any Handicap!

The course was in great shape and the staff was very courteous.

Excellent food, excellent service and an excellent view! Definitely one of the more interesting menus in the area.

A very nice resort, a few area for improvement. Staffing was low, which led to long wait times for food and drinks, halfway house. Golf course was very good, challenging and fair. Slick greens, well maintained.

I'm only 14 years old and I would like to live in Cobble Beach when I will be older. Most beautiful place on earth!

Was looking forward to golfing the course and decided to get a play and stay package with some friends. The course was stunning and challenging, well maintained even in the late season.

It would've been a great trip if the staff and service wasn't so bad! Not friendly staff, with the exception of two, kind of rude and not that helpful. Tried to use the range and had to ask 3 people to get balls because the first two said they should be there even after I told there no more balls. Starter was grumpy or something, maybe it was the cold weather but give me a break. The site leads you to believe tee times are 10 mins apart but they're really 5 mins apart and they let 2somes and solos go on a packed day which lead to a 5.5 hr round. They ran out of food at the turn by 2pm. If it wasn't for the actual course itself I would give it a 1 star but the course saved the rating to a 3 star. If you go don't expect much in terms of friendly staff and good service but he golfing is great!

Beautiful venue, great service, very well prepared food.

Course is in immaculate condition! The views were stunning, felt like you were on a golf vacation! This location could certainly gain international notoriety for its beauty and challenging greens but will need to work on tightening up the service. While everyone was very friendly, it doesn t quite suit the polished feel of the location. While popping into the restaurant for a pre-round bite, I asked if they could make a cappuccino, the server replied that they had recently received a new machine and it was garbage and that they could try to make one but the coffee was awful . Still enjoyed our experience, just recommend elevating the service!

Blue 90. This review may be biased since I shot the best round for me at this course. Twilight on Fathers Day was only $75! all in with cart and driving range. These guys have the best greens in southern Ontario in my experience, the scenery is wicked amazing and photos don t do the signature holes justice. The staff is great and without attitude. The pace was great even for a single up to the last few holes, however there was no marshal. The course food was perfect, high quality hamburgers and reasonably priced. I usually only get one or two shots at playing this course each year and it has never disappointed. Note : that this year must have been dry because all the courses I saw in the area were quite sere, but this didn t affect play at this course. Lastly, after a round here, you can drive to Sauble Beach and have a beer on a restaurant patio and watch one of Canada s greatest sunsets.

What a beautiful track. Great value too. Worth the drive. Gorgeous layout and views. The greens are soft and fast. Raised and undulating. Get ready to count extra putts.

Decided to spend a weekend away, and drove up to Tobermory for hiking and end with a round at Cobble Beach. The course was in decent shape, despite it being almost the end of season. Pre-round drinks on the patio was also great, overlooking the water. Will be returning.

Friendly staff, challenging golf course with view of Georgian Bay and nice resort

Accommodations, staff, food & golf were all great but the annoying flies in the dining room bothered us. Hopefully the Mgm. will resolve this problem with existing systems to eliminate the flies, so as to add a Star to this rating.

Unbelievable course, great staff, and picturesque scenery. Would reccomend to everybody and I will certainly be back.

This is a really nice course, that is kept in near immaculate shape. From the moment we arrived, the starter, pro shop staff, and restaurant staff were very friendly. Tee decks are spotless, dead flat and in perfect shape. Greens were unbelievably good and roll very true. I should note that the practice green is a true representation of the on-course putting surfaces. As a few others have noted, there could be more sand in the bunkers, but we have had an extraordinary amount of rain this year already, so this is understandable. The greens have the potential to be VERY difficult depending on pin position. Fortunately, when we played, they were in generous, favourable areas. The carts are new and clean. The clubhouse is beautiful and spacious, locker rooms are very nice as well. Well stocked pro shop in case you want a souvenir, or you forgot to bring something. All in all, this was a 10/10 experience and I will be returning for more golf in the future.

Course and views nice, bunkering poor, beach sand and bunker size not appropriate for top level course. Loved the greens and run offs. Starter was a little less than friemdly.

Great scenic course. Well kept condition wise. Did not have the best service on the course or pro shop. Didn't really feel all that welcomed at desk. Halfway house wouldn't serve us pop or chips 2 minutes after they had closed. Would be understandable with hot food or drinks, but cold ready to go stuff you would expect an exception. Golf 4 1/2. Staff 2 1/2

I went to Cobble Beach for dinner with my friends. The view from the back patio was a delight as it over looks the bay and the surrounding valley! The white fish had crispy skin and tender flakey insides! Their burger was cooked to perfection lovely toppings and lots of flavor! Their drinks were ice cold and the service we had was excellent!

Stayed overnight with the play and stay pkg. The course will challenge all levels of players. Beautiful views. The course plays longer than it seems.

The course is beautiful and in great shape. The sand traps however are difficult enough being pot bunkers without having to deal with the fact they have no sand in them. It has been a difficult spring trying to keep them drained I understand and hopefully they will them in shape soon. Other than that great course!

Such a beautiful spot and the jerk tacos are amazing!
