I m disappointed that it took over a month to close my son s file. To me that is absolutely unacceptable because he was unable to get support from another agency until his file was closed. I even spoke with his assigned worker 2 weeks ago and she assured me she d look into that day. I pleaded with her but she didn t seem moved at all and didn t even apologize for not doing what my son had asked. Nothing happened until today. 2 weeks ago I asked and my son had also asked and the worker acknowledged it with me, but he had asked about a month earlier. So 6 weeks to close a file. A marginalized young man, with great struggles, anxiety, depression who just wanted help. Wants to work! And he was made to wait 6 weeks. How is that helping him? Do you realize it causes more stress for the person who is already struggling?
