Watched Al Di Meola here a few days ago. Sound system is good but the AC is on full blast so bring a sweater. Food is below average but you go there for the music anyway so wouldn t fuss over it.

I really want to like this place but it's just too old and not maintained. Cleanliness is very poor and quality of food and drink is almost inedible. Small venue makes for great concert but if you have to worry about the roof caving in , well not desirable. I may come back simply for a show I absolutely want to see, but I wont eat or drink.

The food here is awful and very overpriced for what you get. So are their drinks! The service is really slow and it needs a complete remodel! It's dingy and dirty feeling but SOMEHOW they still get really good acts to come in.

Loved the performance...very upset with Coach House that we were not warned before charging us 5.00 each for a small bottle of water (which we would have declined had the server stated its cost per bottle). Never again...bring your own water!

After a night of sleep I had some time to think about my experience at the Coach House.

First the food is god awful, the prices are sky high, and the interior needs a complete rebuild. Based off that I alone I would have given these guys 1 star. My beer was also warm and cost me $$$.

The saving grace of this venue is the sound. It's almost as if the electric guitar was meant to be heard on these speakers. It's a lot louder than it needs to be for a venue of this size so make sure to bring some heavy duty earplugs. The seating is rows of dinner tables, and what's cool is you get to watch a very intimate performance with the artist.

I enjoyed the musical portion but everything else was crap. Just be prepared to spend the big bucks here.

I 've alway's had a great time there thru the last 25 year's. It's been a few year's since I've been back. Recentley my mother invited me to join her and some female's. I was speaking to the male at the door expressing my feeling's of hesitation about going in...... A long grey hair older male walked out with my mother. She told me I could only come in if I behaved , and was nice to her. She (Edie Wilson)-Mom- created a situation I had to stand up for. The same man said she(I) could not come in. My mother and him walked back inside. I walked up to the signal light next to the freeway and danced. Other than that experience it yourself.....Kim Summers

For this particular show, they had long tables set up, a la oktoberfest bier hall. It was hugely disappointing that it wasn't a real general admission, where we could dance in front of the stage like we did in the old days. It wasn't like this when I had been there before. I hope it's not like this all the time now. It really drained a lot of energy out of the room.

Yeah, a low energy X show. What?

This is a terrific and intimate venue. All seats are great seats. The best views of the stage are at the tables serving dinner (make a reservation). The veggie cheese skins, potato skins, and mushrooms are good.

Great place to see a show! Ticket prices are good and food and drinks also reasonably priced. All seating is very good since it is a small venue. Wouldn't compare it to other venues that are mostly GA (ie Belly Up and Observatory) where you have to fight your was to the front for a good view..... why do the tallest people have to stand in front? Lol. Anyway, I highly recommend Coach House as one of the best local concert
Venues in OC!

The coach house gets by. They don't appreciate their guest or those playing for their guest. The carpet is torn or taped , the food is from a happy meal at Mac Donald's. Why would they care about their reputation! They make their overhead and more. Just a dirty lack luster venue. Been there-won't go back.

Decent seating - horrid food at a huge price!

Decent seating - horrid food at a huge price!
Ordered the bar-b-que chicken and beans. It was a plain old chicken breast - who knows how it was really cooked - smothered with a not-so-good bar-b-que sauce. The beans were just Heinz beans from a can! And the vegetables had that horrid freezer burn taste! Couldn't even finish the veggies. Seriously? Can't even give fresh vegetables? Gordon Ramsey needs to visit there! We spent $45 for two very unappealing dinners.
The only thing to save the day was a table close to the stage - which is why we went in the first place.

The Coach House. It's the kind of place that has great seating wherever you sit . There's a bar and food. It's a "small venue" and the audience and performers get maximum enjoyment. I've been there many times and always come away very satisfied with the place. A great place to see your favorite performers.

Old place with an odd layout, but it's a pretty cool, small venue to see bands. The wait staff seems to have gotten larger & better, but you can still wait awhile for a beer. They lose a review star for their food... seems like it shouldn't be that hard to improve a little... especially with small, $30 steaks...

I enjoyed the music, but not the OLD dated venue. I am glad that I had dinner elsewhere. The menu was overpriced for low quality food. The women's RR did not have seat covers or enough stalls. I will not be returning.
