Sylvio and crew have been excellent for us. They put in a beautiful oak staircase, custom built an entertainment wall/bookcase, made radiator covers and most recently custom built a steel plate to make our front door more secure.
Communication from the office is excellent and they work fast and clean up the jobsite well. Highly recommend this family operation.
CNS demolished an illegal addition, combined two illegal studios into a single apartment, and installed a new roof hatch in my Brooklyn brownstone. They were prompt, responsive, courteous, and made sure we discussed the scope and cost of change orders never any surprise costs. The quality of their work was excellent. This is probably the 5th or 6th time I ve used a contractor for work on one of my buildings in Brooklyn. I would use CNS again for any renovation work I ve finally found my trustworthy and reliable got-to contractor.

I wanted to use local company and they did the job.Great company with caring employees. I needed to replace IKEA cabinet doors, they made replacements and installed them. I also replaced shelves in deep cabinets with drawers which they made and installed. The drawers allow me to see all the items in the cabinet,they roll in and out so easily
Thank you for such great work and fast service. We had a bad leak from an apartment above us and needed to fix and repaint over the water damaged ceilings. CNS provided quick and efficient service with highest quality. We had an issue with the grout color choice on our kitchen floor and they fixed it immediately. We recommend them, great to work with.
CNS completed a whole kitchen renovation for us in June 2020. They are a FANTASTIC team to work with.
- Great Customer Service: They have a physical office and someone always answers the phones or emails. Whenever I purchased an appliance, I sent a copy of the purchase and they made sure the plans were made accordingly. They were very quick to respond to urgent questions.
- Right on Schedule: Our kitchen renovation took exactly 4 weeks and that was really important because we were paying rent elsewhere for the duration of the project. They were RIGHT ON SCHEDULE.
- Very Professional: The whole crew were just such nice people with a great professional attitude. The crew was accommodating to adhoc changes and understanding.

-and CNS coordinated all experts seamlessly.

Overall they were easy to work with, accommodating to our needs and additional requests, and made sure we were happy with the end results. Every step of the way we felt that we were in the hands of an expert crew. If we ever do another renovation, I wouldn't even consider getting bids again. We will be using CNS Construction. I recommend them wholeheartedly.
Absolutely horrible! We are still finding issues with work that was
completed even though the whole job was never completed. On day 37 of
a 15 day build, he gave up and left me with a very expensive mess.
They are all nice enough guys, they have no idea what they are doing!
Update- They did come back and resolve a few complaints with sub par
work and after another company came in and completed the tile work. We
have been using the shower for a few weeks and a thin spot in the
grout gave in. Water went through the grout joint and onto the shower
pan. The shower pan that CNS construction installed did not hold a
thing causing a bigger water leak than we initially had which was the
cause of the remodel in the first place. I text Steve with the issue,
and he relayed back that CNS would not assist in the matter! Their
contract that he walked away from (breach of contract) that he was
double the estimated completion (breach of contract) and wanted twice
as much time to complete has now been breached again by not honoring
the warranty period. (Breach of contract). Buyer beware!!!
