Club Hotel RIU Evrika - Sunny Beach Review

Mid-range hotel, I don't know where the great reviews come from.
Minuses:
- very cold water in the pool, the children could not sit any longer because they were shivering from the cold despite 30 degrees, and then they fell ill! Especially the kids area has very, very cold water.
- we got a family room right next to the laundry, where every day from 8 am the gentlemen in the laundry room were making noise under the window, slamming, shouting and choking (disgusting) - and worst of all they smoked cigarettes right under the balcony. It was impossible to open the window due to the noise and the stench of pipes!
- the hotel has a pitch open during the hottest hours, at 7pm it is already closed and cannot be used. They open for 2 o'clock at 10 am and then only around 3 o'clock. Nonsense, when I wanted to play with a child when there was a bit of shade, there was no chance. Mini disco is a total flap. He is outside, so when it rains there is no party. Plus the same songs every day. The children were bored. It also takes 40 minutes. The "daily" show without any information is canceled, not to mention that the show is outside, so when it rains it doesn't take place either. It should also be noted for the parents of tiny children - The roar of music is heard in the rooms so great that babies who go to bed earlier may have a big problem to remove.
-food failure! Pizza tasteless, thin, literally the same dishes over and over, no menu changes during 10 days of stay.
- the advertised Kids Club has animators who do not know English, it is impossible to get along. Only one of them knows the basics. There are no toys at all in the Kids Club. It's empty and a few toys for two-year-olds.
- the rooms are full of ants, even ants get into the beds.
- all hotel guests cover their loungers with their towels in the morning, the staff does nothing about it. In the morning you go to take a bath with your child and there are all deckchairs with a towel and only half with people.
- ubiquitous cigarettes, guests smoke and throw pipes on the floor. There are poets everywhere. Nike does not pay attention to the presence of young children. He even smokes for mini disco.

We had a great holiday. Hotel is very nice. Very clean. Staff is very nice ... Offer is very versatile .. super location right on the beach and on the promenade ... Food is delicious especially the bread. .. always freshly baked.

Great hotel; clean, good food, friendly staff, near the sea in a quieter part of Sunny beach.

We were at the turn of August and September with my wife and 10 month old baby.
Hotel in a great location, with a private beach and sunbeds for hotel guests. There is a bar on the beach, but mostly beer. Clean rooms, we had the 1st floor in building D, only the view from the balcony is nonexistent, because everything is blocked by the skylight for the room below. As for the cleanliness in the bedroom, no objections, the king of silicone appeared in the bathroom, of course, but everything was normal. Bath towels delivered daily to the rooms.
Now the most important cons. The most important minus for us is HELLO COOL WATER. This mainly applies to the children's pool, although it was not much better on others. The paradox is that the hotel is one of the most recommended for families with children due to the number of attractions (slides, swimming pools), so when an adult's attempt to enter on a hot day ended up grinding his teeth. The child's reaction couldn't have been different. So we practically did not use the paddling pool because the water temperature did not allow it.

Another disadvantage is the poor work of the gentlemen who keep order on the slides. I had situations where I was going downhill with my child, informing the rescuer earlier that I would be doing it very slowly, the rescuer ignored it and let another person run behind me for a moment, who ran into my back. Fortunately, nothing happened. The same goes for a "funnel" or spiral where you fall into the end of deep water. Nobody is really looking at it. The only supervisor is the lifeguard upstairs, who admit volunteers, but from that position he has no right to see anything downstairs.

Drinks, of course, "baptized", as befits an all inclusive program. White wine quite good. Food quality for Bulgaria, seafood, etc. Omelets in the morning every day ...

Evening attractions until late at night, including a fireworks show at 11pm, which is not necessarily a plus with a small child due to noise.

A nice addition is the opportunity to try 3 types of cuisine, Bulgarian, Italian and Asian, of which, as it turned out, the first in our opinion was the weakest. The dishes served there are actually a different class for everyday food served in the hotel (FOT).

To sum up a successful trip, we found good weather, but the cold water in the pools, poor service at the slides, and for me personally, the inability to go snorkeling and see anything in the sea come down to the fact that we are unlikely to visit this place again.

First-line top location, large and nice pools with mini aqua park, large clean rooms, nice kitchen, good service.

The hotel looks good, the cleanliness in the room is very good. I was accommodated in a Premium room with a sea view, the view was very beautiful, but after 6 pm it smelled of burnt oil.
The staff were very "bored", did not know English and were not kind (except for the reception and the animation), one of the bartenders at the pool asked for tips.
The food was much less tasty and less varied than other years, everyone ate in the Premium restaurant, so at dinner it was very crowded. The rules of social distance were not respected by tourists and they were not attracted at all by the staff.
I really liked the Asian and Italian restaurants, but the Bulgarian one was a real disappointment, both the food and the service were very bad.

Great pool for the kids, lovely looking hotel and right on the beach food was ok but spent as much eating out and the juice was terrible thought going all inclusive with the kids would be better but no, not free Internet even when u pay still poor there is a salt and Pepper restaurant kinda on the same grounds great food and really friendly and good WiFi

Very disappointed. The hotel is not worth 4 stars. And this year, MPM ASTORIA consists of an acidic state and the range is insignificant.

Lovely place, with great play area for kids and also nice swimming pools. I went there for couple of medical massages, as I had problems with my neck and I am very content, so I can only recommend it. Some drinks are a bit too sugary, maybe not the best for kids. The security at the entrance could be a little friendlier.

I had a very nice holiday, diversity at the table, big and clean rooms, animators ok ... Bartenders very ok, I also make some cocktails that are not on the list :)

We have just returned from a 12-day vacation with our family of 2 children (0 & 4 years). We enjoyed it very much, perfect for families. Great swimming paradise and top right on the beach. We had booked a 2-room Premium apartment for our 4th. Really worth it, very spacious, modern and very clean. Anyway this entire resort is very clean. Constant is persone sweeping, mopping etc. Staff is friendly, main buffet restaurant is also really fine. Always eaten well. Unfortunately, the Italian and Asian restaurant are against that. The restaurants look really great, they really have a nice appearance and that makes it such a shame that the food and staff are really bad. We have also indicated this very nicely to 1 of the restaurant managers. Really a missed opportunity .... Because we had Premium rooms, we could also use the Premium restaurant, we were the very first guests of that newly opened restaurant. That also looked fantastic. We even felt almost embarrassed about any crumbles on the floor or stains in the new upholstery that our young children might make when we went to eat there. But also here, implementation is a missed opportunity. They couldn't keep the food warm. Apparently, because "they" didn't have the right equipment or materials at home. A shame, because that is immediately a letdown. For that reason, among other things, we ended up eating in the main restaurant every evening.
What a good tip is to indicate during the reservation that you would like a quiet room (if you are with young children). Otherwise there is a good chance that you will have some noise nuisance in the evening. In short, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Enjoyable stay with a good water park in the grounds. Good weather in June and good food.
Friendly staff and Good excursions but had a lack of evening shows so had to go out onto beach front in evenings which means spending money if you've got kids.
Definitely worth a week here and have met people that come every year.

Very nice place. You must book ahead for the a la cart restaurants and sport field. In our 4 days vacation did not succeed to go to those restaurants. Also is a major difference going to premium package. It is very dissapointing that after the checkout you must imediatelly leave the hotel. This did not happened to me in the past.

Great relaxing holiday in family hotel Evrika Beach. Food with plenty of choice, but not overloaded. Pools are clean and the aqua park operates on an hourly basis. This saves explanations for children if you want to go. Hotel highly recommended.

A luxurious hotel with luxurious rooms in the premium complex, very close to the beach and an abundance of food and drink and many facilities for children

Everything was great. We stayed in block C overlooking the garden. At night there was no noise from the shopping promenade. The food was delicious and varied everyone came to their own from us adults to children. Hotel recommendable.
I would like to draw attention to the supermarket right next to the hotel at the beach are racists I was refused service on the basis of skin color they thought I belonged to a community they do not have to.
This supermarket certainly avoid !!!!!!!

Absolutely nonsense the restaurant. Fish raw other food completely unsalted. the big hit is that you get the mealtimes prescribed either you can eat from 18:00 to 19:30 or from 20: 00-21: 30 one is assigned to the late variant and it is a little earlier there you will be despite half empty restaurant again sent away. Just ridiculous

Great hotel. Nice swimming pool with many slides. Unfortunately in September the water was much too cold. Lots of choice in food. Room was large and good beds.

Great place for a summer vacation with kids! Keep in mind slides are opened just 4hours per day. And if you have kids under 130cm the politics change from day to day. One day they are allowed on the big slides, the second day not. We didn't get a clear explanation why, but after we signed a paper that we know the risk it was fine. The only issue is you needed to have the paper on you so sliding with it. :))

Family vacation for a week ...
Hotel quite nice, large, by the sandy beach and also with the hotel pools with water slides and children's pool. Family room OK, tidy - a little pity for me that it was a bunk bed for children, but it can be an advantage for someone. Animation program, evening children's disco. All inclusive - indoor bars and beach bar.
To the minus I would put: very cold water in the pools, the hotel air conditioners are still running at full capacity and I feel that they would need disinfection. Large selection of dishes, but everything greasy and the fish not much ...
The hotel could think about the consumption of plastics and eliminate them a bit.
Wi-Fi is within range, but it doesn't work. Mostly it only worked at the reception, not in the room.
In total 4 stars, at 5 it is not.

Great staff, good food, great location, clean rooms, it is constantly cleaned. Something for everyone. Whether old or young. The best are the bartenders. For me (were to 7. On vacation) a great value for money. Again and again I would travel to this country or to this hotel !!!

Brilliant hotel, food is out standing and real friendly

Hotel completely turned around. Simple food, not amazing. The water in the pools is a bit cold but gets used to quickly. The slides are not open continuously, but only for a few hours a day.

Insolent guards, came to rent 3 rooms for a week, they said no rooms, go to the forest. The security guard Vladislav did not even let us enter the parking lot to go to the reception, despite the fact that we had a preliminary reservation through the booking. Nobody let in from other entrances either. To take us to the reception, they replied that they are not concierges and they do not need it (it was already at the entrance from the beach), the secure facility is straight, although crowds of people without badges walk wherever they want. Wanted to spend almost $ 3500 now only negative. Rotten place. Insolent staff.
The reservation was canceled and went to another hotel. I think that all beautiful reviews are written to order.
