I've personally dropped my insurance information off to their office, only to end up in collections. They don't even give you the courtesy of a bill. I just received a call from Americollect and I saw tham on my credit report for at least the 5th time. Perhaps a punch in the face would get their attention.
ZERO rating - Beware, this provider will bill you for amounts that your insurance has stated you aren't responsible for. They make agreements with insurance companies to accept reduced rates for services as part of being in that insurance company's "preferred network." When the insurance pays them, they pay the reduced rate and the provider "writes off" the amount of the reduction. The patient is only responsible for the copay for that service as part of their insurance policy, whatever that is. Clinical Radiologists, however, will bill the patient for that reduction, even threatening collection - which they will do. Patients have to either fight with them (good luck), get their credit messed up, or pay them. How many patients have paid them when they didn't have to. This provider has dealt with insurance billing. They know how this works. They are preying on patients who may not understand and I can't imagine the money they are making from their slimy practices. This provider is a 3rd party, used by Passavant Hospital in Jacksonville, IL and assumedly others. Patients of Passavant may not realize they will receive a bill from them.
