One of my favorite wineries. We booked a tasting for 7 in advance and got a dedicated table and server.

The wines were tasty but none of them stand out in my memory. The pours are generous and surprisingly cheap.

There's lots of open space on the property for picnicking. Seemed like they were OK with people bringing their own food.

Great spot and friendly servers. In particular Kevin is wonderful. He made our experience! It's not the high end place you'll generally find in napa and south sonoma but frankly that's why we enjoyed it

Nice place, friendly and a fun atmosphere. The wines are more affordable, but it stays open until 6. If you've hit up every other place before this one, I doubt you'll taste the difference.

I could not possibly be happier with Cline! They hosted our wedding and were nothing short of phenomenal. Ask for Laura, nobody better in the business!

Such a lovely winery - the scenery is gorgeous, the wine is fantastic, and the staff is warm and friendly. My favorite winery in the area.

We came here on a Sunday - expecting the worst (crowds, etc.) But we had a wonderful time. This place is not just for wine. The wines are excellent by the way (try the ancient vines Zinfandel!!!). But there is so much history here, you'll be swept off your feet. Also, we got a free tour which was incredibly fun and informative. I will come back here. I love this place so much! The staff is incredibly helpful and kind.

Pendulum Club membership is the best deal in wine country and they have the most wonderful tasting room staff.

Love their wine and the grounds are beautiful! Don't miss the museum when all this shut down is over!

I love Clone! Their wines are reasonably priced and their hospitality staff is warm and welcoming. A great venue for a picnic too.

Not all the wines were our favorites, but our server, Kate, did an incredible job finding each person what they wanted -- at no extra charge! Amazing value, and found some great wines to take back for our week in Sonoma.

Also by far the prettiest sights -- the ambiance is perfect.

Non-pretentious place. Simply about the wines which are great value for their price. The best part is that they don't charge for the tastings!

The most friendly winery in Sonoma! I walked in and felt like I was with old friends. The master sommeliers there give you more than just a tasting - they have a strong passion for wine (and a few other things)! Got their Viognier to take home. Another suggestion: the Cashmere Black!

I absolutely loved this place! The staff was very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and hospitable. The grounds were lovely with plenty of tables and shade. There is a pond where you can feed the fish and turtles - bring quarters for the food dispenser.

Delightful, relaxed setting with fountain, huge shade trees, many sitting spaces, a historical walk, great gift shop, and helpful, knowledge staff. Love it!

We only had 45 min but we sampled a really large selection of wine from whites, blush, rose, reds and fortified. Very efficiently run, unapologetic and super tasty! Definitely a must stop for wine lovers (especially if you are into the bouquet)!

My boyfriend and I booked a winery tour & tasting at Cline - very good value at $20. We had Barbara and she was a delight - she has a very thorough knowledge of the history of the property (even before it became a vineyard) and the wine maker family. The tasting was great and she was very generous with our pours and we loved so many of the wines - try the eucalyptus flavoured one! I'd definitely come back again and highly recommend Cline!

Great place,great wine, great staff; except for one of the cashiers-she was at the till right next to the entrance of the shop. She was rude to my sister and I, and to one of the staff members too.

For my wife and I, Visiting Cline Cellars was one of the highlights of our honeymoon. Thank you, Kent and Gail, for showing us friendly hospitality from the moment we parked our car to the moment we left.

Highlight of our Napa Valley Trip. Had our brunch and wine tasting with a staff who gave us an orientation at the front yard under the shade of the trees. It was informative and fun but in the end, still couldn't distinguish one wine from the other. Lol. Check out the small museum at the back plus a pond and some kept animals. So relaxing here.

As you can see it s very dog friendly. The staff is delightful. As members we like to pack alunch play cribbage and enjoy the fantastic property. The only thing stopping this from 5 stars is our table was completely covered in bird droppings which happens with all the lovely trees. When we went in to get a damp cloth and told them why it was needed I would have appreciated someone coming to help instead of sending us on our way. Love the donkeys and the museum.

My parents LOVE this place, so naturally I had to come check it out. It was, by far, my favorite winery I visited while in CA. While the views at Rams Gate were undeniably magnificent, the atmosphere at Cline's felt, well it felt like home. It was comfortable and, so beautiful but not fancy-shmancy and pretentious. Dennis was our host and my boyfriend and I had such a great time getting to know him. We both left saying how we wish we could become friends with him and go hiking with him lol. Really, really nice guy. Anyways, we had an absolutely fabulous time hanging at Cline's and I can't wait to come back one day.

Attended the ZAP event at Cline Cellars. Great winery, beautiful grounds. ZAP had great participation from the Sonoma and Napa wineries. Tasted lots of great wines, including Ridge Winery and Seghesio Winery. Thanks for a great afternoon!

Beautiful setting with great wine. I love the Late Harvest Movredere. Bring a packed lunch and sit at a picnic table.

A wine factory, they make tastings. They also rent for events, it is beautiful, the gardens are spectacular and it has a small museum with models of the different missions in the region

Fun place to enjoy family and friends and since we are constantly in a drought drink WINE!

Cline , has a beautiful setting. Reasonable tasting fees and very friendly staff!!! Ask for Gigi, saw her a week ago and loved how she treated my clients!!

Cline is worth stopping at if you've got a good 30 minutes to kill. The tastings were free when I've been there, and they didn't even compel us to buy a bottle for that but we were happy to. It's a nice, low-key environment with some people buying bottles to drink on the property and others making their way up to the tasting bar from wandering around and other standing there, working their way through the list, and deciding what to buy, if anything. We left with a bottle of old vine Zinfandel (I think), and a good experience with memories. Parking can be annoying, but definitely worth the wine (which is appropriately priced, for sure) and the time.

Friendly staff, beautiful grounds, reasonable prices, and tasty wines. GREAT format stop, as this is close to the city and has plenty of space and amenities.

Wonderful winery. The tasting was wonderful, Gary was knowledgeable, helpful, and most of all easy to chat with about the different wines! The winery is beautiful, and the wines themselves were all delicious.

Love the place. Staff are super friendly. And they make your visit an experience for sure. 100 points for customer servise and 100 points for wine taste.

Covid-19 wine tasting was not too crowded, we had reservation with pre selected flight. Our table with wine flight was setup before our arrival. As always wines were great specifically one with eucalyptus taste being my favorite.

Six stars if I could! So glad I saved Sonoma for the second day of wine tasting as opposed to the first. Cline cellars was so fun and has a whole crew of down to earth people from the parking attendants to the managers. We had two wine tastings and sampled a lot of their whites, a few roses. They are known for their whites but have a few good reds too. Tasting fee is taken off your tab if you buy a bottle of wine. Most of their bottles are $15-20s, so it's not bad. Loved Cline cellars for the ambiance and they have some picnic areas (reservation only) and a huge fish pond where you can feed them! You can walk in the back and go to the mission museum too - not too much to do there, but great if you have some time to kill. I will be back!!

Gary was a champion and recommend us some beautiful wines. Sweet dessert wine came with a slip of dark chocolate.

A quaint little winery that has beautiful grounds and a unique vibe. The wines are good and the staff helpful from my experience. The small areas they have the wines at can become quite crowed if it's a busy day.

Lovely landscaping and good wine make up this large winery

First of all, do try the wine tastings. The wines are deliciously delicious. Second, take the tour around the property. You may learn something new. I never knew that the making of wine is solely grapes, never adding extra ingredients. Finally when you're done with everything, spend some time with the mud sharks and pheasants. They're absolutely gorgeous to look at.

Great little place with an awesome selection of wine tasting flights. Service was amazing (thanks Peter!) and prices were pretty low considering the area. Left with two bottles after the tastings :)

Such friendly staff and we felt safe during this COVID era. Masks required, temp checks, etc. The new Cabana service was 5 stars! Totally worth it. We plan to visit again ASAP.

I like this place because it is wheelchair accessible and the people are really friendly. It's a great place to learn about explore. Very cool.

Beautiful grounds, wonderful wine and superb staff.

As part of the Carneros wine region, Cline is a welcoming entry point to wine country. We visited most recently with a medium-sized group, and although some of us were only interested in sweeter, aromatic whites while others looked for full-bodied reds, Ron, who poured for us at the patio tasting bar, was excellent at ensuring everyone found something they enjoyed. He recommended wines at the edge of our comfort zones, from less common varietals like Carignane, to a smooth red blend even the white-wine-only drinkers might enjoy, but was never pushy. Tastings are complimentary, the atmosphere is gregarious, and the staff members are knowledgeable.

Awesome place great staff. When I accidentally drank my wife's wine and could not find a replacement in my city. They sent me the bottle. Never had great service like this. When my wife and I visited the cellar.. It was a great experience. Friendly staff and the tour was fun, education and full of humor.

Beautiful winery, their Zinfandel and Black Cashmere wines are wonderful. Already planning to see if one of our local liquor stores can bring them in. Stopped here as part of a Muir Woods and Wine Country tour by Extranomical Tours, highly recommend the tour also.

Had a wonderful experience at Cline. Not only are the staff knowledgeable and friendly, but they are genuinely excited about their craft. This vineyard is a great stop for anyone making their way through wine country.
The wine: absolutely excellent. The craftsmanship speaks for itself. Cline is producing some spectacular wines and utilizing the most effective techniques in the business.

We did the Syrah hill experience and it was probably the highlight of the whole trip. All tastings were complimentary and the flights were generously portioned. Mr Darryl was a great guide. Thank you Cline.

Excellent wine tasting. Barry was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. The gardens are beautiful and the people working in the gift shop very helpful.

We just visited Cline and I wanted to share our bad experience, in case anyone else is planning a similar visit. We were a group of about 20 people - including adults and kids, and had chosen Cline because it was kid-friendly (for the record, we've visited before as a family and had a wonderful time). The bus company had made a reservation for us and they were expecting us when we arrived. To be fair, we were late - but hey, it's wine country - and it's winter - it's not like they were terribly busy. Our wine host, Tom, was rude and spoke down to us. He seemed to be put out when people came in and out of the tasting, and many of us had to ask him to pour the next wine. I was also rushed by the staff to "settle up" -- before we were even close to finishing the tasting! No one was friendly - with the exception of Tom's assistant who, we were told, was in training, and graciously took our camera and snapped a few photos for us. The worst part about the visit was the staff and their strange behavior. Every time a kid was seen wandering alone, they were on them like a hawk - asking who the parent was. When my dog barked because it was startled by a larger dog, I was quickly approached and told the dog couldn't bark. Our children were scolded multiple times and basically told they were not allowed to do anything. The feeling was TENSE - not sure how else to describe it - but it wasn't what I expect or hope for when wine tasting...especially on such a special occasion.
