It's all about the people! Nice boutique winery that has a lot of connections to the bicycle world. In addition to good wine, they have a lot of biking gear and old bicycles on display. There is a food truck that is normally parked outside serving good food to winery visitors and people in the area.

The most unique tasting in town, where else are you going to get a food truck staffed by talented CIA students? Get the arancini, not usually on the menu. Edited to add: Wednesday is the best day to visit the food truck, every week is a different theme and its gonna be tasty and different from anything St. Helena has to offer.

Clif also had the best damn Rose in town too!

Mix of a great fun with great wines

Came with the intention to taste some wines and maybe buy some. I was not expecting to have all tasting selection so high quality. Beside that, the team was just welcoming and friendly. They had a very good knowledge on the wine, also respected all the team in Clif winery, rspecially their winemaker (a lady yes!! Well done work). All was well orgenized outside with all necessary safty actions. Nice music, foodtruck...so all in all, I spent there much more time then expected. Recommended!!

I am huge fan of Clif bars, gels etc and had no idea they did wine too. Came recommended via a food truck that probably was one of the best things I ve ever eaten. Went in for the wine tasting and Troy hooked it up. He was friendly knowledgeable and seemed to care. We had a cheese plate with our meal and it came with an amazing ginger pear jam. Picked up some items for the road including a wine he recommended which we are excited to enjoy. Meanwhile we are standing out in the rain waiting for our lost Uber driver and who is inviting us back in to make sure we are good to go? Troy. Solid dude. Solid wine. Solid experience. Add it to your itinerary.

Great place, super people.

Great place, super people.
Came in on a Sunday for a tasting and found ourselves in a very homely atmosphere. The people are very polite and though this was my first time doing a wine tasting, the staff didnt talk down to me or make me feel incompetent. The food was unreal, great taste and amazing place

We did a Cliff Bike tour where we had road bikes that were fitted. Highly recommend this package if your willing to go for a bike adventure and amazing wines. We started off by having a really good coffee and checked out the store. People think that it's an actually winery estate but it draws away from that. It's more so being for the experience of customer service at a winery is suppose to be like. Everyone is knowledgable, the tasting is super generous, and the bruschetta truck is unreal. It's an amazing place to have a tasting even if your not biking and want to get out of the crowds of people at wineries. Highly recommend in coming and seeing what's Cliff Family has in store! If your a road biker, you will love this.

I organized a wine country outing for my team at work this past fall, and we came here as our final stop on the tour. Everyone in our group was so impressed with the hospitality at Velo Vino. They have a very nice outdoor seating area with a fireplace available on a cold day. They supplement the tastings with a nut bowl and also some Clif bars. (There is an indoor area as well.)

It's a very casual and unpretentious winery that also has a cycling /outdoorsy affiliation (owned by the same people that make Clif bars). They were great to work with when organizing our group visit -- called earlier in the afternoon to confirm everything, didn't mind that we were like half an hour later than we had originally anticipated etc. They stay open pretty late too, which I feel like is pretty rare in Wine Country.

It's a fine line at these wineries a lot of the time between being a good host and being too in-your-face; I felt like Velo Vino navigated this divide flawlessly. Admittedly I don't know much about wine as far as commenting on the actual taste quality of their wine offerings ... but it seemed fine to me, and more people bought bottles here than at the previous stops (although that could've been due to an accumulation of tastings over the course of the day that loosened up the wallet!). All in all, our participants left raving about their experiences at Velo Vino!

We did a Farm Feast lunch and tasting. While we expected a decent meal and wine, we were truly stunned with one of the best multi-course meals and wine pairings we have ever had. Our host Sean and the rest of the staff were so friendly, accommodative, and genuinely interested in service that we requested to become members. Other wineries give you the typical speech and try to convince you that their wine is different; Clif proves to you how their people and business is different. We expect to be members for quite a while.

Clif Winery is consistently the winery to go to in St Helena. Good wines, respectable prices, and their bruschetta lunch truck is absolutely amazing!

They're also incredibly hospitable; if you belong to their wine club expect to be treated very well. Overall, they make for either a great start or a great lunch; make sure to go!

This winery really blew our expectations. It wasn't a mansion size complex but what made this tasting unique from the others was their food truck serving the most delicious organic bruschette bites. You can take them with you to the tasting table and the sommelier will give you pairing suggestions.

I strongly suggest having a tasting reservation because it was pretty full when we arrived. Ours was at 1pm and our seats were already waiting for us. I volunteered to order from the Bruschetteria food truck and the sommelier was kind enough to wait for me while my friends sip their complimentary wine. Tasting costs vary here from $30 to $95 but we opted for the regular Yellow Jersey Tasting and trust, it was more than we asked for. We got to try a 2016 Napa Chardonnay, 2015 Bici Red Rhone Blend, 2016 Gary's Improv Zinfandel, 2015 Kit's Killer Howell Cab and a couple of bonuses that I couldn't remember the names.

During our tasting the buzzer went off so I went back to the food truck and boy, I was salivating because everything looked so amazing. We the Arancini (breaded risotto Milanese), Porchetta (pig), Carni (beef brisket), Il Pepe (pepperoni) and one veggie called Fresco (melted burrata, roasted cauliflower). Everything was simply scrumptious but my favorite was the Porschetta. Each bruschette was about $12 and it's great for sharing. We basically just sliced them up so everyone could try a piece. They were so fresh, so good and the quality of the ingredients was on point.

Loved this winery. Again, it's not big place but they do offer both indoor and outdoor dining. Tastings are held inside and they also have a private room. The Clif Family Winery is definitely a must stop when visiting wine country. Fun fact: This winery is owned by the same folks who own Clif Bar and they do offer them in the premises :)

Of all the wineries I visited during my Napa trip, the service and assistance provided by Troy at Clif Family was the best. The wines were also excellent (my favorite was the gewurtz), and the food truck served up some very delicious food bites.

One of the friendliest experiences we had in Napa. When we weren't able to do a tasting (our own fault for not making a reservation), they gave us two glasses on the house without any hesitation and took the time to talk about our trip and provide some recommendations. The cab sauv was delicious too!

This place had the best pairings with flights. Their wines were great and our guide from Louisiana was fantastic. Honestly we got more at this small winery than Mondavi. Visit this place if you re looking for excellent experience. The bruschetta food truck is popular, if we hadn t eaten before coming, we would have been all over it. Visit this place!

we stopped in after a day of tasting just to try one more and finish the day. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming staff and the service of the tasting. All of the wines were great and we ended up buying a bottle as well. We were just as impressed with the creative snacks they they served along side the wines and we bought one of those as well. They completley sold us on everything and they weren't even trying!

The bruchetteria truck puts this gem of a winery oasis into the five star range even if they don't have many of our favorite wines. But, the wines they have are quite good. We like the Rose and looking forward to sauvignon . Pair up your wine with bruchetta in the beautiful, relaxing back patio before or after your bike ride
