Cleves Cross Learning Trust: Building Aspirations, Inspiring Children, Creating Futures
Cleves Cross Learning Trust is a multi-academy trust that operates across County Durham in the North East of England. The trust was established in 2014 with the aim of providing high-quality education to children and young people from all backgrounds. Since then, it has grown to include six primary schools and one secondary school, serving over 2,000 pupils.
At Cleves Cross Learning Trust, our mission is simple: we want to build aspirations, inspire children and create futures. We believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life and we are committed to providing them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.
Our approach is based on three core values: excellence, respect and collaboration. We strive for excellence in everything we do โ from teaching and learning to governance and leadership. We treat everyone with respect โ pupils, staff members, parents/carers โ creating a positive learning environment where everyone feels valued. And we work collaboratively with other schools, organisations and communities to achieve our goals.
One of the key strengths of Cleves Cross Learning Trust is our commitment to continuous improvement. We are always looking for ways to enhance our provision so that it meets the needs of all learners. This includes investing in staff development programmes so that teachers have access to the latest research-based pedagogies; developing innovative curriculum models that engage pupilsโ interests; using data analysis tools effectively so that we can track progress accurately; working closely with parents/carers so that they can support their childโs learning at home; building strong partnerships with local businesses/organisations so that pupils can gain real-world experience.
We also recognise the importance of extra-curricular activities in promoting well-being among young people. Thatโs why we offer a wide range of clubs such as sports teams (football/netball/cricket), music groups (choir/orchestra/band), drama productions, art clubs and more. These activities not only help pupils to develop new skills and interests but also foster a sense of belonging and community spirit.
At Cleves Cross Learning Trust, we are proud of our achievements so far but we know that there is always more to do. We are committed to working with all stakeholders โ pupils, staff members, parents/carers, governors โ to ensure that every child has the opportunity to fulfil their potential. Whether you are a parent looking for a school for your child or a teacher seeking new opportunities for professional development, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey towards excellence in education.
