The Salmon is bomb! Great customer service and good food!

They're southern fried chicken is absolutely delicious. An I like those sweet corn muffins of there's too. This lady(I don't know if she was an employee or the owner) gave me a free drink called purple *something*(can't remember whole name) and it was delicious.

The food was even more amazing than expected!!!! My order was ready exactly when they said it would be, and it was hot and fresh. The staff was extremely friendly and had great attitudes. I'll definitely return!!!

Had the best shrimp and grits with crab cakes in the world lol. No kidding food was insanely good. Can t go wrong! Great people, very warm and comforting establishment. Even text me when the food was ready!

I love the food. They get 5 stars for customer service alone. The lady taking my order was very pleasant. I love how they effectively communicate how you'll receive your order especially due to covid19. I feel like I got a nice helping of food; I eat small portions, so I had to save the rest for leftovers. Overall the food was great, I most definitely will be going back.

The atmosphere was chill and relaxed. I'm definitely going to be trying several menu items over the next few weeks. The deserts look amazing but I'm going to have to resist the impulses of my sweet tooth.

I've been driving past this restaurant for months and decided to pay a visit today after work. Omg. This is a hidden gem. The food was delicious, the owner was friendly and the staff(family) was helpful. Will definitely be back.

Upon entering the establishment, the smell of great tasting food was overwhelming. At that point, I already knew the food would be delicious. I was greeted by the entire staff there, which provided great customer service. Food was very fresh and made to order. I ll be returning to get another corn muffin for sure!!

The food is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.. We had the Crab Cakes, Herbed Rice, Pecan Maple French Toast with 3 Wings, mac n cheese, and red beans and rice... We are definitely going back..

Food was very flavorful and seasoned well. It was as if you walked into someone kitchen and was being served a meal even though it was carry out for me. I don't like Hot food so the temperature was fine with me. Hospitality was excellent. Keep up the good work.

Owner and family: Very pleasant experience from the time I called with general questions to taking my order. Everybody was professional and knowledgeable. Even when I arrived to pick up my order I was greeted with such a warm smile.

Food: Soooo good. I had the creole catfish with mac n cheese, green beans. Also ordered the bread pudding. I shared with my sister so she could taste and had to monitor her intake to ensure she didn't eat it all. Good price for the amount of food. I have leftovers which I plan to enjoy just like the first meal.

I'll surely return. I love supporting black owned businesses and when the service and food stand on their own it's a WIN in my book.

Amazing! Pro tip: get there early before the specials sell out. Place is adorable, mostly takeout but there are a few seats in which yulpu can comfortably eat in. What to say about the food??? Veggie sides were alternately hot, smoky, sweet. Expert. Fried boneless thighs YUM. We got a taste of several of their FOUR salmon dishes, the sauces here will make you cry. Finally -- the corn muffin is to DIE for. Cannot wait to sample more specials at this truly special place!

Waitress had a nasty disposition! I will not eat there again.

Amazing restaurant!!! I'm a man born and raised in New Orleans area. I love to cook food for friends and family wait to see their expression after presentation and taste. My wife and I travel and we try the popular tourist spots but enjoy more finding the local restaurants. Living in beautiful bronzeville area of Chicago when I saw the restaurant it was a must try. Creole cuisine and small business. Soon as we walked in we where greeted with a very warm hello and beautiful smile. This restaurant was very I mean very clean you can see the kitchen from the counter and there no grease and wasted food all over the place. The food is top notch and very fresh. The protein seems to be cooked to order so you know it is fresh. All the sides are homemade and the presentation is beautiful. All I can say is I hope this restaurant stays around forever cause my wife and I loved it.

SO, so good. A neighborhood staple, for sure! All the items could stand alone, but together the meal was to die for!! I got the herbed salmon, Mac and cheese, with rice and honey cornmuffin I had enough for two meals!! And amazing hospitality

Not just "southern food", but "high-class, top-notch quality southern food" is his I would put it. The chicken is well-spiced and made to order. The biscuits are moist and delicious. The Mac 'n' Cheese is super cheesy, homemade style. I've had the salmon before and they do seafood really well!

Logistics: There is a bit of room to sit and eat, but recommend take-out.

It was our first time and it won't be our last. The best food I've had from a restaurant in long long time. The creole fried catfish n lump crabmeat poboy was great. My husband enjoyed the creole fried catfish with wings. The mac n cheese is creamy and tasty. The herbed rice is good too. I only wish the greens and green bean came meatless. I really enjoy Cleo's! My friend recommended it for the catfish. I had it and it's a tad but heavy on the salt but tasty nonetheless. Another woman suggested I not give up on them and get the salmon which I loooved, a lot! It's delicious! Also, those honey butter biscuits are SO GOOD. I was mad I didn't get extras when prompted to. The kind and the efficient customer service makes it a 5-star experience. Be prepared to wait. But when they tell you it's an hour wait, make sure you're at the location or in the area because your food will be done and ready for pickup.

My coworkers and I ordered ahead of time. We arrived at the time given by the order taker; however, we had to wait another hour to get our order. I didn't like any of the food. I will not be a return customer.

$50 for two dinners that were served in plastic containers. Mash potatoes were cold, and the dish was taken and put in microwave. Corn was really bad. Food was bad all around. Would not recommend and would never patronize this business again. Not worth the money

Blown away! The food, the service, the ambiance (restaurant is bright, very clean, and smells REALLY good inside) is FANTASTIC. Great addition to the neighborhood. I will be back.
