Here at the beautiful, wonderful Drilling Company performance of "Romeo and Juliet" at Shakespeare in the Parking Lot! It's a lovely evening, and we are so grateful for the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center for providing the say--the parking lot--for this event! So awesome...what you get when you just take a walk through Lower than Manhattan!!!

Great place for performance arts. Plays, stand up comedy and more.

This place is great! Great family environment, friendly and welcoming people. And very educational and cultural! I had a blast at the show ! I love how they bring latino especially Puertorican culture to the community!

They have great programming unfortunately the community they are suppose to serve are completely unaware of the great things they do here. They need to hire a outreach community person.

Excellent location for the visual and performing arts

They cut off a play I paid $18 to see early due to "technical difficulties" in the beginning making the play run overtime. It was unclear whether or not the technical difficulties were their fault or not. But why couldn't they have just pushed the rest of the performances back like a normal venue would?

I feel robbed I never got to see the end of a great play. The chairs were terribly uncomfortable too.

Wonderful old building with a lot of history that sponsors cutting edge Art Galleries and theater productions. Not something to be missed and a beautiful part of the lower East side.

The staff Durning the Three Kings event were so unorganized it was unbelievable. The left hand hand know what the right hand was doing. It was 35 degrees and the staff made people who had tickets to the event stand on the curb off their property. Then due to the over crowding on the busy New York street they had the crowd walk around the block to begin a new line down the street outside of their parking lot. Then many people came and cut the line but the staff did not care to hear. After standing outside the gate parking lot for over an hour they let in the first 20 people into the lot as they locked the gate behind. Then they moved us to the side to make room for the next 20 cars started to come into the lot to park and we were forced to move again. The after an hour the told us to stand by the entrance only to be asked to move again 30 minutes later. There short version of this story is after a 3 hour wait to take part in a joyous holiday among my Hispanic culture I was horribly disappointed. The entire event once inside lasted all of 6 minutes of product placement and a half handed attempt at appealing to the mass of people who wanted to experience a feeling of joy not anger & disbelief.
