I discharged from Clearview Treatment Center’s Dual Diagnosis program on 10/10/2025. The experience was difficult but ultimately helpful—I needed stabilization after a month-long marijuana relapse and acute depression. Therapist-led groups were supportive, though tech-led groups were less effective. I learned a lot about advocating for myself, which I had to do often. My first month was marked by severe marijuana withdrawal: intense emotional swings, dysphoria, anger, sleep problems, nausea, and digestive issues. Staff and the nurse practitioner never acknowledged that I was in withdrawal, which made the experience much more distressing. During one crisis week, despite expressing suicidal ideation, I received minimal support outside a brief therapist session. I requested non–12 Step recovery meetings due to trauma, and while initially approved, chronic understaffing meant I was required to attend 12 Step meetings with the group. The required 1:6 staffing ratio was rarely met. This left high-needs clients without proper supervision, and at times clients were informally monitoring someone who clearly needed a higher level of care. Case management was also strained. Only one case manager served all five houses, leading to repeated paperwork delays and mistakes. Limited phone access made managing essential tasks difficult without more support. Accessibility was another issue. I disclosed mobility limitations before admission, but the facility had far more stairs than described, including at off-site meetings. Only after persistent advocacy were accessible options provided near the end of my stay. Food was challenging as a diabetic. Meals were often too carb-heavy, breakfast options were minimal, and the only accommodation offered was frozen frittatas. I ultimately purchased my own food. Overall, Clearview provided some meaningful therapeutic support, but significant issues with staffing, accessibility, crisis response, withdrawal education, and individualized needs remain. I stabilized largely because of my prior long-term sobriety, but I worry about clients newer to recovery who received far less support.

Clearview has an incredible program for those suffering from mental health concerns and addiction. As a behavioral health professional, the staff at Clearview is an absolute pleasure to work with. They are kind, professional, and compassionate. They believe in the treatment provided and have always worked extensively to support their clients. I feel confident when referring clients to their program as I know they will receive individualized and comprehensive care. I would highly recommend this program as they have consistently provided outstanding care to our mutual clients.

I attended another treatment facility and this is the only one that in my opinion is EXCEPTIONAL! While at residential they had coaching sessions which were extremely important for my recovery!I learned so much about myself from the DBT program they offer. It has allowed me to utilize the tools this program has to offer! It has paid off! I attended there residential program and the stepped down to there to there IOP. I'm an alumni and attend the monthly alumni meetings as often as possible! Thank you Clearview!

Clearview Treatment Programs is a program with great integrity and commitment to helping those who are suffering from mental health and addiction issues. I have participated and watched Clearview grow into one of the most respected treatment centers in the country. The treatment they provide, staff, and facilities are top notch. I would recommend Clearview for anyone needing help.

As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist I have made Clearview my number on referral for all levels of treatment they have to offer. I have even made personal referrals to them. From their out reach coordinator to the treating therapist I have had only good experiences. My clients and friends have reported the program was life changing. My client's personal work has enhanced more after treatment. I highly recommend Clearview. I am very picky on who I will refer to. Trust me this truly a compliment to their program

Clearview has changed my life. I d suggest trying it out if you want to learn skills to deal with problems instead of only talking about how they make you feel. It was my first time going to a program and trying DBT. I wasn t sure what to expect and was apprehensive, but the Clearview staff are the most supportive, compassionate and understanding people I ve ever met. They got me and they helped me get my life back. I felt understood, validated and..normal. I did the php program and then the evening IOP where I could work and get help at the same time. You definitely get out what you put into the program and the staff are more than willing to help you on the way; even carry some of the heavy stuff for you while you sort through the easier stuff. They truly care about your wellbeing and the phone coaching was very helpful. Their staff are all on the same page and my experience with them has been nothing short of life-changing. The staff are passionate about their jobs and it shows in their work. All of them go above and beyond. They ve taught me skills I will keep with me and implement for the rest of my life. I d highly recommend them.

I sent my daughter to Clearview because of their reputation for DBT and also for their structured environment with the hopes of protecting my daughter from herself. They promote how their clients are either at the house or chaperoned trips on the weekend. On a "chaperoned" trip my daughter did something that violated their rules and she was discharged early. I supposed my definition of chaperoned and theirs differs. To make things worse - on the last day a staffer gave her a joint to smoke on their "chaperoned" walk. They deny it and have every motivation to say it is untrue but my daughter has no reason to make that up. She told me as she cried because she had immense guilt about smoking pot after being clean for 30 days. You send your child away to a "treatment center" and the last thing you expect is for them to give her the drug she is addicted to.

I worked at Clearview for six years and got to know the staff and programs in and out during that time. The staff is passionate and dedicated. The therapists are all extremely well trained and care deeply about the great work that they do. I personally witnessed hundreds of clients take huge steps toward better lives and better relationships as a result of their hard work at Clearview.

As the Executive Director of an outpatient DBT center, I am truly grateful for the services that Clearview Women's Center offers. There are numerous inpatient/residential treatment centers stating "We do DBT" when all this means are 1 - 2 DBT groups offered weekly delivered by clinicians with minimal DBT training. Throughout the years, there are times when one of our patients needs a higher level of care, and Clearview Women's Center is the place we refer to without hesitation. Clearview offers the Linehan model of evidence-based DBT and most importantly, collaborative and sensitive care. The patients we refer to Clearview Women's Center report their satisfaction with the quality of services received. There are very few places to refer to for quality residential DBT treatment, and very few that deliver DBT the way that Clearview Women's Center does.

Clearview was highly recommended for me. Now that I can step back and review my stay, I have a few things to say. It is NOT a great place for older women. To have us rooming with someone so much younger, someone you may not have much in common with is very stressful. It is hard to find a spot to be alone and work on what is being taught. I could easily be the parent of most residences. It was a lonely experience. I have migraines. There is NO option for staying in bed. At one point I was sick with a virus being passed around. I spent the day on a couch with people coming and going. Several of the leaders came down with the same virus the following week. You need to provide options for when someone is ill...be it a bed in a quiet room in the therapy house! You have good therapist and not so good. I reported when one of the therapist gave me a nasty attitude. She denied what was said and that was the end of it. Being older means it wasn't easy to enter and exit the van. Since when are the instructors superior to the residents? We were treated as patients, no rights, no advantages. I found it very demeaning. I finally reached saturation and asked to go home. We hadn't finished the work I was doing with my therapist. After 5 weeks I was tired of waiting to work on it. The food was mostly good. It bothered me a lot to see how much we were throwing away. Homeless people can be found just around the corner. Surely there must be a way to share our waste? Many of the residents never ate what was provided but ordered out. I wonder about stating our intentions made before so much food is provided? Would I recommend Clearview to older women. NEVER
