My sister and I brought our dad for father's day. It was an amazing experience. Almost makes you want to cry, when you think about how unappreciative and wasteful we can be in this country. Great experience and loved seeing kids volunteering their time to help the cause!!!

What a great organization! Happy, upbeat and fun staff. Providing a much needed service to the community. It was definitely an eye opening experience about what would go to waste if it wasn t for this organization doing what they do to make the world a cleaner place. My Daughter wanted to volunteer on her birthday and they definitely made her feel special. The team knows how to party. Would love to come back regularly.
Plus, I learned that soap boxes were a real thing! My whole life I thought soapbox was a term for a wooden box. Now I know the true story!

A brand new facility for this charity and perfectly designed for what they do! When you walk in to volunteer you'll go through the 'soap history' walk and it's really neat! They cover soap making from it's conception to now and how they're using it to help out locally and abroad.

This charity takes gently used soaps and other toiletries and recycles them. They work with hundreds of hotels to collect those little soaps and bottles that are hardly used. From there they recycle the plastic bottles, clean and sanitize the bar soaps and create hygiene kits. Some of the product is circulated back into the community to assist homeless or displaced persons. Other items are sent to third world countries to help combat disease.

This facility is huge and has all the right set ups to quickly and efficiently abolish their accomplish. We have been doing volunteer events with them for years and look forward to many more in this new location!

About Clean the World

Clean the World: Saving Lives and the Environment One Bar of Soap at a Time

Clean the World is a social enterprise that has been making waves in the hospitality industry since its inception in 2009. The company's mission is to save millions of lives around the world while simultaneously diverting hotel waste. Clean the World achieves this by collecting discarded soap and other hygiene products from hotels, recycling them, and distributing them to people in need.

The idea for Clean the World was born when founder Shawn Seipler was on a business trip and noticed that his hotel room was being cleaned every day, even though he had only used a small portion of his soap bar. He realized that millions of bars of soap were being thrown away every day by hotels around the world, while many people in developing countries lacked access to basic hygiene products.

Seipler decided to do something about it. He started collecting discarded soap from hotels and experimenting with ways to recycle it into new bars. After months of trial and error, he developed a process that could turn used soap into clean, fresh bars that were safe for use.

Today, Clean the World has grown into an international organization with operations in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America-Caribbean regions. The company partners with more than 8k hotels worldwide to collect their discarded soaps which are then recycled into new bars through their state-of-the-art facilities located across different continents.

But Clean The World does not stop at just recycling soaps; they also collect other hygiene products such as shampoo bottles or toothbrushes which are then sorted out before distribution based on their quality standards.

The impact of Clean The World's work cannot be overstated - they have distributed over 50 million bars of recycled soap since their inception! This means millions of people who previously lacked access to basic hygiene products now have access to clean water & sanitation facilities along with these essential items thanks largely due to this organization's efforts.

In addition to saving lives through improved hygiene practices globally; Clean The World also helps reduce environmental pollution caused by hotel waste disposal practices - an issue often overlooked but critical for our planet's health!

Clean The World has received numerous awards for its innovative approach towards sustainability & social responsibility including recognition from United Nations Foundation’s Global Leadership Council as well as being named one among Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies list twice!

If you're looking for ways your business can make an impact on both society & environment positively - consider partnering up with organizations like Clean The World today!
