Claim Jumper Restaurants Review

It has been a few months since weve been here. We stopped coming for some reason, but today food was good ,but there are definitely less options. Soup was cold not just the one I ordered but a different one my daughter ordered as well. Waitress was friendly and attentive so service was good. But they did run out of pot pies and it was only like 7pm. Daughter wanted that since she was under the weather so she opted for something else which she didnt enjoy. It will probably be a while before we decide to come back.

We arrived at this restaurant for dinner. my friend recommended this restaurant. Well, we were not disappointed. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we felt very good. The meal was great. We had a great time and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Robert was so nice and accommodating when I called for our work lunch. We will continue to go back because of him!

Dirty, musky smell. Staff nice but kitchen slow. Very disappointed in candied bacon. I used to love Claim Jumper when I lived in the Bay Area (Concord) and hadn t been in over 12 years. I disappointed my girlfriend who was excited to experience it.

Excellent service...light years better than the last time I visited. Tables were worked so well that they prematurely picked up my plate while I was at the salad bar.

I normally love claim jumper, and the food is always amazing. But our service was awful. The guy never refilled our water. Forgot our silverware, and didn't bring us more until the meal was halfway gone. (We had to share) he was just horrible.

Excellent stakes. Specialities for the season come in huge portions that are likely to be more than enough for 2 adults. Not sure about the portions of the regular menu. Cool and friendly table service. Cocktails taste awesome, but maybe lack a dash more of alcohol.

It took about one hour to receive our food from the time we ordered it. Food was good but didn't like the wait.

I've eaten here so many times & no matter what day, time, or section I sit at - I HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED BY ANYTHING I'VE ORDERED & EATEN OR ANY ZOMBIE I'VE DRANK. THE CLAIM JUMPERS SERVERS ARE WONDERFUL & MUST POSSES A TERRIFIC SENSE OF HUMOR TO BE EMPLOYED THERE. I KNOW I ALWAYS LEAVE THEM PRETTY BIG TIPS FOR THEIR EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS & FOR THE # OF TIMES THEY COME BACK TO MY TABLE CHECKING TO SEE IF I NEEDED ANYTHING.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE EATING AT THIS PARTICULAR CLAIM JUMPER & I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRYING A ZOMBIE OR 2 - NOT STIRRED.

We went for the happy hour special which is in the bar area only. Service was fast and friendly. They have some tvs to watch the games on. We ordered whiskey and cokes, sliders and the sampler platter. The sliders were good, the sampler seemed small by looking at the plate, but filling for two people. They need to upgrade the well whiskey. Parking can be a hassle.

The country fried steak has gotten smaller, but man the motherload cake is really a mother load.

The food was too rich for me. It gave me indigestion, and the food seemed to expensive for what they served.

Great service food was fresh and hot when it came out!!

The server and food were both great. Just wish they served bread with dinner (even better would be adding back the cheese bread that they stopped serving a few years ago)

This place always delivers. They serve good food for fair rates, there no long wait even when they are busy.

the claim jumper restaurant at the corner of Beach and la Palma in Buena Park is a friendly, comfortable and afordable restaurant. Their menu is filled with the best American comfort food that taste awesome. I'm giving 4 stars because they took the chocolate eclair off the desert menu and no matter what I ordered for lunch/ dinner I always ended with an eclair but now it's gone just like my 5th star. Honestly tho, great food of comfort, friendly staff and affordable I promise you won't be sorry. Make sure you get some of that claim jumpers bread it's insane good.

Menu is diverse & they have a pretty good salad bar that is always clean & fresh.

GREAT salad bar and service. The Staff is always very attentive and personable. The food is always perfect. The whole experience is very enjoyable. 5 of 5 stars.

Eh. Standard chain restraunt with awesome shoe string fries

Great waitress, I'm Not sure why Asparagus, is an extra charge. Kinda dim at our table.

Charged $16.49 for a salad bar (no soup, bread, etc.) that had only a few choices. Ridiculous.

Excellent service, excellent food and great desserts

Across the street from Knott's. Good for dinner after a long day at the park. The salad bar is always a plus here.

We love going out. Last night we arrived in this superb place which friends told us about. We passed a beautiful time there with delicious dishes and a courteous team and an impressive chef. We added this venue in our list and we shall definitely visit again soon. Highly recommended.

Steak was cooked right. Over priced for food quality

The food was good and the portions were big. The service wasn't fantastic, bc it seemed like the staff were really busy. But they were fantastic when they DID get around to you!! Super helpful and professional. I would absolutely come here again.

Always a great restaurant if your into large portions and comfort food. We stopped by after lunchtime during the week. There was no crowd. The food and service were great.

Service was fair. But once I brought up an issue with my food, the server pretty much ignored me for the rest of the evening. The tri-tip was massively overcooked and served without the sauce. It was close to inedible. The cheese sticks we're okay, though. I guess it just stings to drop a hundred bucks and leave with half your meal still on the plate because it was poorly prepared.

Great meal after a long day at work. Ordered the or cart with tri-tip, shrimp and beef ribs. Way to much food for two people. Glad my arm was twisted to come tonight.

Restaurant was filthy and the service stinks. I won't be back

The food is a little pricey but the portions are huge. One of my favorite restaurants.

Some waiters are on point with their service! Some need to pay a a little more attention put the steaks delicious!!!

Wasn't impressed the last time I went, and then went again with a group from work because it was convenient- food was mediocre, salad bar was boring and un attended. Service was good but had opportunity to be better.
I'm not going back.
