Great place to stay for a couple of nights. I had a private ensuite room, which was basic but comfortable. It was near the kitchen & garden area which was noisy until after 11pm, but other than that no complaints. Free street parking from 5pm-9am only.

I stayed here on and off for 6 weeks and was a great stay. Owner Cathy is super friendly and helpful and manager Joe was kind enough to take me out fishing once.

This place has a cool vibe about it and met some real fun/ interesting characters.

Will def be back if I come to Townsville again

To be honest the place was noisy from 7am, as the venue is made from wood. People above us going to work probably, if you want a quiet room you should ask they probably will do their best to arrange you.

The common areas in the hostel are cleaned everyday (bathrooms, kitchen and TV room). Large dorms have own ensuite (cleaned regularly). Cathy the owner is around frequently to check up on things and will introduce herself of your new. Overall a nice place to stay.
