I am a small business owner in Bucktown- opened my first business about 2 1/2 years ago and now expanding. Anyone who opens a business needs to go through for BACP for pretty much anything having to do with the business. I've had nothing but positive experiences at this office- from the workers at the front desk, the licensing consultants, public way use, to the BACP customer service line via the phone, etc... everything has gone very smoothly and they're genuinely interested in helping get the answers you need. Granted, there are some processes that need to be improved in terms of efficiencies (reason for the 4/5 stars) , but what business doesn't have areas to improve? Again, I've had good experiences thus far, and feel props need to be given when due. Thanks BACP!

I have no idea what has happened to this department. I used them many times in the past few years, and was very happy with the service provided. In the past two months, I have had nothing but the run around. One agent tells me to do one thing, then another agent cancels out my application, tells me to re-do it and then email with the info. Well, 3 voicemails and 2 emails later, no on is responding. I phoned and spoke to a woman who told me I had no choice but to wait for the person I had originally dealt with to get back to me. Seriously? 9 days later and still nothing, the line is always busy. This is no way to do business in the city of Chicago!!!

Does anyone work anywhere at this office? I have called every single number publicly available for this office and there is no answer, there is a message stating the the telephone number is no longer in service, or you get dumped into a voicemail system that doesn't let you leave a message.
