I saw the video and read the complaint against you ald. Moreno, and what you did to Brian Strauss. That video of you being a tough guy was a train wreck. Really disappointing

I'm not sure why Facebook gives this office such bad reviews. Politics aside the staff there couldn't be nicer. I've never had any trouble getting things like guest parking passes or discussing 1st Ward issues in general. They are a friendly group and I encourage people to get involved in their local politics. The staff at the 1st Ward office make it really easy to do so.

Moreno's office completely ignores the safety of the Ukrainian Village. I've called with multiple reports of aggravated robberies to have them provide extra police patrol and they shooed me off. They lied that they will send information on how to help make our neighborhood safe and completely ignored us. If it's not the South Side, don't expect your community's voice be heard because apparently dozens of robberies and assaults are not good enough for the alderman to put some extra police coverage.

NEW ALDERMAN Daniel La Spata is the present Alderman now. I've had the pleasure of going to the office a few times and was greeted and treated with respect. Staff was polite and gave me all the information and paperwork I needed to complete my project(s) whatever they couldn't do they pointed me in the right direction with other resources. Definitely a HUGE STEP in the right direction.
