City of Brookfield Police Department Review

One day I had an incident with my daughter and I needed help from somebody so I called 911. They sent 2 officers over and another just to check and make sure that they got here when they were supposed to and then he came by to other times to check and make sure that they were doing what they were supposed to. My daughter was very out of control and making suicidal statements. They were calm friendly and supportive of both her and I. And they took the time to sit her down and talk to her about what it is to be a teenager and how teenagers don't get to just say and do what they want. Also they don't get to throw temper tantrums and threaten to kill themselves just because they can't go visit her friend. They also took the time to bring us together and like her and I talk it out before they left. After my daughter left the room they stayed with me for a while and we just chatted about the job and home my son was going to be a police officer. They gave good advice for my son as well and they wish us luck and told us that we could call back any time period I hope that I don't have to but the way they treated my daughter with the respect and kindness is not something that would have happened where I used to live.

This small town is no joke the cops have nothing better to do than stop anyone and everyone especially if your not white. I myself and others who I have talked with thinks this police department has hired to many unwanted police officer. I'm a resident of Brookfield also and not afraid to post this. You can stop me all you want and will not back down cause I know my rights.

Pretty decent place. the cop kinda helped me out when i was having a problem with a psycho guy i met at a party. but there's one old lady with white hair who works their who's kind of a witch... she's very rude and impolite. not sure how she got her job there. you'll definitely know who im talking about if you ever go there.. -_-

A big thanks to the Policeman who stops me in N. Calhoun in Brookfield and help me find 24 hours pharmacy last night.

Got a call from police saying I have a citation. As I'm getting the info on what I did apparently, they called the wrong person. As I thoroughly explained to officer stubblety (I think her name was) where I was, what I was doing, nothing matched up. She straight up called me a liar and told me she knew I did it even after I told her my license plate, and still nothing matching. Fine job brookfield police are doing, they can't even get a phone call right

Great job preventing gatherings guys! Over a thousand people today en masse, shoulder to shoulder, and not a finger was lifted.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. They would rather make money on speeding tickets than help a woman out who is alone, stranded in her vehicle on the side of 94 West at midnight when it is 20 degrees outside.

Entrapment at is finest, must be raising money for lunch, tedious tickets...I'm not going to allow them to annoy my shopping experience...

Wow, the policemen are really crabby... I hope I never have to go here again... (I was there to get fingerprinted for a job.)

I was an intern with the BCPD for a semester. Everyone I met was extremely helpful and polite. All of the officers I have observed/shadowed work very hard and are committed to their job and to the mission of this Department. The officers are always handing out football cards to kids, talking to children at the mall, and waving at citizens. Positive interactions with the citizens is very important to the officers. All the officers have a great sense of humor and are very professional at the same time. Keep up the great work!
