Filed a police report because somebody stole money from my account. The business had video footage, but it took Detective Larson and the fraud department over a week to get the video. "The footage couldn't be retrieved because of a hardware failure." Because it took you 2 weeks to go get it. The fraud criminals shouldn't have a care in the world because the Broomfield Police Department isn't pursuing these people. They would rather be lazy and leave it up to the bank, who also isn't helpful. I would give you 0 starts if I could. Just unacceptable to call yourself a police department. You're definitely not protecting and serving me.

Unfortunately I have had to call our officers to my aid more times than I would have liked but each time they have been professional and kind. Thank you officer Timmeran and your partner ) whom unfortunately I didn t get his name or card.....but I am No less grateful) you guys handled things in a constructive way with the best outcome for my children and I and we are greatful for your service. While I hope we won t have to meet under these circumstances I do Hope we meet again and thank you once again both of You.
I'm very grateful for the Broomfield Police. We had a very scary situation at my office recently, and I was given excellent guidance and support from the person who answered the phone and the officer that came over to make the report (and he arrived VERY quickly!). I was treated with respect and compassion. Officer Jim Misztal gave me such comfort and peace of mind during a very stressful time, as well as great advice for how to proceed going forward. Thank you to our amazing police. I have only had great interactions with them since I moved to Broomfield 4 years ago. Professional and on point! They also do tours of their facilities, which was a wonderful experience for my students taking a Forensics elective this quarter. I called to report credit fraud in action.....IE products ordered online being delivered today.....wanted to give them a heads up and possibly, ya know, solve a crime..... I got offered a form to fill out. Wouldn't want to interrupt you guys with a lead or anything.
I only give it one star because the person that hit me was found but my experience with this department has been abysmal at best. I think government employees that can arrest you make their own rules as to how things are handled. I hope to never have to deal with them again.

My husband and I got a car accident last Saturday night. The weather was bad. Snowy and windy. The road was icy and super slippery. After the policeman came, they helped us to call the towing company. Our car got towed. Then the very nice policeman gave us a ride to the close gas station so we could call the uber to go home. We would like thank him again for his kindness.
I sure love getting profiled for walking around the neighborhood I live in at night. Really makes me feel safe when an office stops their car in the middle of a street, gets out with their hand on their gun, and then asks what I'm doing out walking at night.
Officer at desk was rude. Asked a question with a question and didn't fully explain with a statement. In the end I got my answer and was told to "be direct" with the other agency. I felt the miscommunication was not on my part and in the end he was rude from beginning, middle, to end. This is to someone that works in Federal law enforcement. Other Broomfield officers are able to communicate with distinction and kindness, this guy missed that class.
Today I was driving west down 128 past the airport and I admittedly had my music too loud because I did not hear an officer coming up behind me. As I was pulling over, the officer came what felt like centimeters away from my car laying on his horn... I was nearly driven off the side of the road. There were absolutely no cars to the left of me- they had more than enough room to safely go around me. In hindsight, I should have pulled over immediately to let the officer go around me and recognize where I was wrong, but to put me at risk while he or she was on their way to another emergency? They were obviously just proving a point. I was shaking after they passed me up. It made me feel like they don t care about the safety of their citizens they just want to flaunt their power. It s really sad how the officers that abuse their authority give all police officers a bad reputation.
Thank you Broomfield Police for everything you do for us. I had to go to the Police Department and Courts to recover stolen property. The Police Officers at the desk were helpful, and professional. Be Safe!
Thanks much to these professionals I always felt safe, helped and treated with respect during the years I lived in the Broomfield and Westminster area.I have moved to Thornton area, helpful and nice officers too.
I have had scary and terrifying police experience most all of my life. I come from a place where they are violent right from the start. The things they do have been traumatizing illegal and instill total. Disrespect in the people they police and even there fellow officers. I so far have had limited exposure to Broomfield police. In every instance save for one which was my stupid fault in the end they have been calm curious helpful respectful on point and there commander has been incredibly helping and upstanding to any needs addressed. I try my best to limit interaction with them but where I live brings me into close contact with them regularly. I see them been calm. Curtious respectful and still affirmative in there actions with out being dickish obtuse or rude. And recently with the issue of vandalism the officers were able to out a complete and total halt to it. So in an odd rare and genuine moment of gratitude I saw thank you for genuinely helping our small community get some order back and keep it this way.
THE WORST POLICE DEPARTMENT IN COLORADO.. The Broomfield police departments FAIL to provide an INTERPURTER. Ever since I moved here , last year on May 2016. I been harassed by police and people in Broomfield. I just came here to start fresh life from what happened to me in the past . .so as saga continues AS THEY STILL harassing me. They know my disability but they still harassing me. . I been abuse by polices in the past because they don't understand my disability.
My experience with Broomfield police dept are worst then other polices department I had deal with.. I even call 911 plenty when people cut me off n almost hit me also even when neigbors get away wit it and they won't help instead, they treat me like I'm a thug, little boy and also I wasn't getting my respect as a gentleman..So this Broomfield polices department, let a lot of people get away. Even when I got jump by a immigrant, Because I look 18 so he didn't understand English so he went off at me..I suffer a cuts , minor injuries so the Broomfield polices, let the suspect go and he wasn't charge for assault and body harm on a disability

I tried to work with the Broomfield dept bout commiuncaton but they refuse & don't wanna understand. Why I'll never call 911 in Broomfield . The polices will or attempt to withdrawl their weapons from their holsters then shoot me ,when don't understand me. Officers like badge #3515 - N Trujillo ,serigo ,and young officers are not good cops,honesty. They will withdrawl their weapon from their holster then shoot me or other citizens. They got bad attitude.

Well march 3 2017. I finally got the biggest relief from this department....finally they took care business which they finally didn't let the kids get away after they disrespect. They was trying to be bad a*** which they got in trouble for harassing me when i was going home which the teens was in the car trying to show off front of his little chick which they on their way to FRONT RANGE ACCAEMDY. IT SUPPOSE TO BE FOR HARD HEAD KIDS WHO DON'T WANNA LEARN..BUT THAT KIDS DID PISS ME OFF WHEN I GOTTA WALK AND TAKE CARE BUSINESS. THE KIDS DIDN'T SEE I WAS over 40 so they look at me think i was their age. Lol.. so he took it a wrong way and look at me wrong .. So I went to his school to talk to the teacher bout the kids behavior . so I went up There to have a talk with the teacher bout the kids behavior toward me and want him to have respect for eldest like me
But instead they called the Broomfield polices because they judge me wrong and i do look so younger. Which they turn to the worst by calling the polices.which student got trouble for harassing me..I didn't come there to hurt the her students.OMG!!!!!. I came up there, to have talk with the teacher bout keeping her students in control and respect ppl who lived in the area as well me..
So the Broomfield polices did took care the business. Yes the kids got in trouble by their principle..and I finally got the biggest relief

I don't believe all the officers of the Broomfield police department are the "heros" the Broomfield Police Department page claims they are. Some of them seem to be quite the opposite.
In my opinion, Officers Micheal Deedon, Josh Vaughn and Jeremy Ehrlich seem to have a serious problem with telling the truth while under oath, an assertion I can back up with official Federal Court transcripts.
Fortunately, at least for the people of Broomfield, Officer Jeremy Ehrlich resigned earlier this year and is no longer in law enforcement.

I'm concerned about the truthfulness of Officer Ehrlich's testimony ..
I just think that is completely disingenuous.
"If he had heard, if he truly recalled those statements being made, I find it questionable whether he would have omitted to put those statements in the affidavit. "

Called the Broomfield Police tonight (2-5-18) as someone just kicked our front door open, then disappeared. I actually saw the person's foot as they kicked my door open and I was offered many other possibilities for what the officer thought may have REALLY happened. It was very frustrating having to repeat myself while they acted all kinds of judgey.
Being left with the feeling of not being taken seriously has left me with a complete lack of respect for the Broomfield Police Department.
Also, not a single one of the three officer's that came to my house even offered me their name. Unprofessional.
Last March my Parents were getting a divorce and unfortunately the police were called. Luckily no one was going to be taken that night. There is one thing that has stuck out in my mind EVERY day for the last 5mo. AND the reason I finally write this review. A female officer gave my Mother advice on how not to be the one to go to jail in the future and HOW to get my Father to go to jail. I was in absolute shock. This was the worst thing to hear as I love both my parents and although one parent committed adultery. I sure didn't want to see anyone go to jail, EVER!
They didn't let me even say goodbye to my boyfriend and I AM PREGNANT Like they were the most heartless people I have ever met. I thought they would have a slight bit of sympathy but yeah right I guess!
