Very friendly staff. I travelled with an infant where they cater all the demands without any hesitation. Food was very good. Pool was good. Rooms were clean. Did not charge anything extra. Beware of sea urchins if you are using the sea.

We had a pleasant stay at citrus Hikkaduwa. Everything was great. Rooms were nice, clean and spacious. Food was tasty they had buffet but the spread was less. Unlimited cocktails were given from 7 to 8. We celebrated my dads birthday, the cake given to us was very tasty. Staff was very friendly and helpful but no one welcomed us when we came to the hotel I think they need to improve it.Pool is clean and nice. Overall we are happy with the stay.

We had a pleasant stay at Citrus Hikkaduwa. Staff were friendly and helpful. Covid guidelines were well adhered in this hotel. Rooms were spacious , had all the basic nessasities. The food were flavourful. All 3 meals were served as mini buffets because we went on weekday . Spread wasnt big but the food were flavourful and delicious. Evenings they had tea with a snackfrom 4 to 5pm, then free cocktails mocktails and bites for free from 6.30 to 7.30pm.all events were well organised.Only draw back was that there is no baby pool. We had a wonderful stay at this place. Thankyou and keep up the good work.

I am only comment on the food at the pool side restaurant as we just stopped by for lunch. The food is so great at this place. We had some burgers, I loved how they weren't showered with mayonnaise and all types of sauces. The food was super clean and used pure spices to enhance the flavour. Really it's worth stopping there just for food. The prices were extremely reasonable and great size portions.

Hats off to the chef and the team good job!

The hotel was good. the pool is not that big it is facing the sea and adjoining the main restaurant. because of the COVID19 there are some health restriction as the guest need to wear face masks all the time. When you enter the hotel to the restaurant they will check the temperature
the promotion was with happy hour unlimited cocktails , the liqueur contain of the cocktails are very less. but you can get as much as you like. the bites were very good the kottu was very tasty.
we stay for full board basis , the food spreed was good, all were buffet and even we stay on a week day there was substantial amount of guess in the hotel.
room was good but bed was not that enough to share with children.

Don't even think about staying in this hotel. Food...

Don't even think about staying in this hotel. Food is not good and the room is absolutely a nightmare with no privacy. First thing i had to do once checked in was to ask the maintenance to repair the balcony door which doesn't lock. We waited for like 15-20 minutes till someone comes and repair it but one came. Then we went for luch as the buffet closes at 3pm and while we were having lunch, maintenance team has taken the liberty to open our room with a spare key and repair the lock (note that the front office said they are not allowed to open the room if the guests are not there in the room). Room has no privacy and the balcony opens to the balcony of the room downstairs. Plus i can hear everything that's happening in the corridor. Food was not good at all and there were very limited options.

The worst experience i had is they don't even provide water for the guests. I've stayed in so many hotels and by far this is the only hotel I had this problem. They provide only 2x500ml bottles for 2 guests to consume during their stay which is absolutely ridiculous in this dry climate!!!!!!! If you feel thirsty, you'll have to pay Rs. 200 for 500ml water bottle which is Rs 50 of you buy from anywhere else in the country. They have kept facilities to make tea in room but i don't know how on earth we are supposed to make tea without water.

In addition the room (specially the bathroom)was full dust coming from the ceiling as the ceiling has served its time now. Plus even a floor rug was not available.

Overall the stay was very unpleasant and will never recommend to anyone!!!!
