Went to the CMH emergency room with 3 broken ribs and a collapsed lung. All personnel in the emergency room were very attentive and helpful. I had to spend another 4 days in the hospital and received very good care from all.
No accountability from their Doctor
I went for a psychological evaluation at their Missouri Memory Center, so
difficult to discuss mental health, but I needed help. The test was 6 hours long, the Dr. was combative and condescending, they charged me a much higher price then quoted, and I was told to get a life coach as his professional diagnosis. It took the Grievance Committee less than 24 hours to decide that they are not going to do a thing about this treatment.

I had visited this hospital during my brief stint living in the State of Missouri, and I was very impressed with the level of care and time each patient receives, as compared to other parts of the Country (having lived in the Northeast my entire life). This hospital is a hidden little gem and a wonderful asset to the Bolivar community.
My mother in law was admitted and later had surgery, 5 day stay and the nursing staff was outstanding. Excellent
This hospital called the Police on a patient with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer for "supposed" marijuana smell. The police came and illegally searched this poor mans room, as well as his belongings. Maybe the hospital staff should be replaced with some compassionate care specialists and the security guard who "smelled" marijuana, How do you know what marijuana smells like? Are you a marijuana smoker? As an Army Combat Veteran I do not support this hospital and its practices. Go here if you want to get arrested. Veteran community STAY AWAY!!!
pretty disgusting you would let police come to a dying cancer patient's hospital room and bully him for using CBD to alleviate himself, and let them search him to try and find THC so they write him a citation. wow.
This is a hospital that staffs employees with zero human empathy. The Bolivar Police state that some of their security officers detected marijuana, and called police on a man with stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer who is dying. He used CBD oil, which is LEGAL in Missouri. They never found any marijuana or illegal substance. Shame on this hospital for inviting this abuse and stress via police shakedown during a cancer patients final days.
This is a horrible place with a wretched staff. If you or a loved one are at Citizens Memorial Healthcare, then try to get to another care facility as quickly as you can. They do not care about their patients well being. Please, be careful here.
I went in for a check up, turns out I'm healthy. Was told insurance would cover the physical. But almost 2 years later I find out from a collection agency that I have a $210 bill that is outstanding from them. I lived at the same address for a year after my check up, then moved to a new address. So it took them at the very least over a year to send me a bill, which I was assured at the time of service I would not be receiving. The place is a joke. Just out to scam you out every single penny they can. Save yourself the trouble and anguish and just go to a real doctors office in Springfield.
I just CANNOT believe what you put that poor pancreatic cancer patient through. You should be ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES. Your actions in calling the authorities on a dying man is abhorrent, at best. You MUST APOLOGIZE and as quickly as possible. What you've done is just the worst, most egregiously unethical thing. You make me SICK.
