Had a cv done. Pleasant and friendly staff but wasn't 100% on the cv given. Took a lot of my experience off my origional which I thought was important and a character reference.
Great place to get forms filled in when you can't physically or mentally do then yourself, also good advice, only gave 4 stars due to distance from where I live. When I rang them up to make an appointment, I got through straight away, maybe I rang at the right time than the other peoples reviews?
Went to Citizens Advice they were great helping there for you they give you attention the alt mean with whatever I needed help for a great place if you need any help try it if you're in trouble or if you need advice about bills whatever they're there to help you
Even though advice was provided over the phone, due to covid. The service was prompt and very helpful and supportive.
They offer good advice and help on lot's of problems that people have.

Not the best staff. The lady I met with spent more time telling me of her own ailments and telling me how she copes so well with them than listening to me or trying to sympathise.

Fantastic when you need advice and help. Cannot recommended highly enough.
Very long queues. Cant get through on the phone, after hours of trying. Just not accessible for disabled people or those in real need.
The allied services on consumer goods advice, which had the only queue that led to a person, was helpful. CAB clearly needs more staff and funding.

Secondly they need more staff , The person that was suppose to help me (Steven) was not reachable . If you call the reception they used to say he s busy all the time!! I Had to end up going to the Sheffield one and they were brilliant

Extremely helpless have no powers to deal with cases. Simply waste of funds. In my opinion govt should grant them not only funds but power as well. After waiting for nearly two weeks finally I met with an advisor and he was not ready to even write a letter for me with some lame excuses. Very disappointing.
Good for those who have some legal issue so they can go and ask help...
